Always use wax

someone please embed I'm on mobile. This happened to me on my summer setup today, thought you guys would get a good laugh out of it. Enjoy

I'm going to do this soon. Didn't really know much about defining until looking it up right now

I think part of the reason my edges dug in the rail is because it was a pretty soft kind of PVC so you have to wax it a bunch or you get stuck. But idk

The gray kind of pvc seems to be a bit softer so that tends to happen on my set up as well. the plus side of that is getting used to keeping your lead edge up, that way you don't catch on shitty metal ones too often.

i feel ya bro happened to me this season

This was basically me two years ago. Buy a diamond file from a ski shop or online and a gummi stone. Use both of them at a 45 degree angle on the underfoot region of your edge. Don't worry about applying too much pressure or anything, you want to actually apply a good amount of force against your edge or else it won't make much of a difference from it not being detuned. Just apply a lot more force than you think, brcause when i first detuned my edge i didnt use that much force and i always thought that if i did i would some how ruin them. Hope this helps.

Wax might have helped but that looked like a classic edge digger. You need to make sure to have round edges when sliding PVC.

PVC is way softer then a metal edge.
