ALTA!!!

Uhh... right.

The important difference you don't understand is that snowbird is a top-down mtn. The tram puts you on top of everything. At Alta you have to traverse and/or hike for most of the good stuff. This would fuck the boarders up because they can't traverse worth shit.

Also, most snowboarders suck. They gape their way down everything, and are often out of control, and it's hard to predict what they're going to do next. Everytime I go somewhere besides Alta, it reminds me how nice it is not to have to deal with boarders.

alta for life.

You had some good points but lost me with the most snowboarders suck part. Same can be said of skiers. Truth of the matter is someones always getting in the way.

not true at alta. the majority of gapers follow the most beaten path. their all old ppl pounding their way down mediocre slopes. while all the good skiers fly across the highT passing up gapers right and left. inexperienced skiers at alta get scared and stick to easy runs because they know them better. leaving the goods to the locals who know whats up.
