Alta vacation questions

What's up NS, I'm going out west for the first time this christmas break, and it seems like Alta's the best option. I'll be there for 3 days of skiing.

I just had a few questions:

1) I've never been a mountain so huge, so which areas/lifts should do you recommend the most (in-bounds only, no bc experience)?

2) Will I be able to rent big enough powder skis there? I have 90mm AR7s, so this option would be ideal.

3) Any other suggestions/advice about the resort would be nice

I would hit up the Sunnyside Lift on the deep days. No lines and its always deep as hell in vail ridge. But really id go to park city..wayyy better over there.

if you want to ski pow, dont come to PC haha Alta is pow heaven. Anything right off the main lift (Collins) is awesome. If you want some intense stuff, check out Castles. And you will be able to get a pow ski rental out here for sure, all the shops have them.

this is actually complete nonsense. Sunnyside access's a bunny hill basically. If it is actually deep, stay on collins/wildcat. Unless you want to venture over to catherines.

Wildcat laps are probably my favorite at Alta. if it hasn't snowed recently, get off Wildcat and hike the shoulder for some decent turns.

You can get a lot bigger than 90mm demo skis at Deep Powder Haus at Alta. I'm sure they have some around 90mm too but 90mm is not a powder ski.
