if alta acctually made a good terrain park than it would be the ultimite resort, 500 inches of annual snow, limited people, sick park, powder lasts for like a week without getting tracked out. they should kid-nap the park manager from pc and take him to alta and make him make a good park.

it isn't the park builder. he is the one who is actualy trying to have a good park. the problem is $$$$. Alta is still scetchy on the idea of pumping a bunch of money in to a park. but don't worry, I am working witht them to try and persuade them in to having a sick park. It probly won't be the greatest next year, just some sick rails/boxes, but in 2 years it SHOULD be up to par. oh and you can see some footie for a film shoot we did there in 'First Light'

i was out there in march and the park was not very impressive, but theres plenty of random lips and small cliffs all over the place

but im sure itll be better next year

dang. double dang. alta should put more cliffs in. they don't have enough in their park. and someone mentioned that alta gets powder and that it doesn't get tracked out for a week. dude that shit gets tracked out faster than a mofo. like negative 30 minutes.

 
I really hope you're not serious. If you know ANYTHING about that mountain you can find untracked pow for at least a week, at least.

west is right... just keep traversing and you'll find some.. if you really want powder.. go out of bounds, its RIDICULOUS (unless you get hurt which you will die cause there is not ski patrol)

well mabye the main runs do but get tracked out but mt. baldy does for like at least 5 days, loads of cliffs also, basically alta is a terrain park, just a natural one, replace rails with cliff and there ya go.

i mean mt. baldy doesnt get completly tracked out for like 5 days, out of bounds is insain, chads gap, grazzly gulch. woo when i went hiking there it blew my mind

ALTA gets tracked out fast, and whoever said go out of bounds to get powder your an idiot, of course its goin to be untracked in the backcountry. the only place that doesn't get tracked out to fast is the castle cuz its so big, and blady cuz its not open much and people don't want to hike.....

but anyway just give the park and alta a few years, it will be up to par, so many skiers including myself are pushing it.

the sick thing about that pic is that its some 15yrold bigmtn. ripper chick who has NEVER been in a terrain park and she doesnt even have twin tips doing switch 180's, but they could put better pics on the site

cant expect everyone to see shit the way i see it cant expect anyone to be dope the way i be it.

I expected the rocky mountains to be alot rockier, that john denver is full of shit!
 
^yah but at alta everywhere gets tracked out like a main run! only one place that doesn't is the castle cuz its so big, and the snow can get bad over a period of time!
