Alta or Snowbird

>asking Alta vs Snowbird without saying anything about what type of skiing you do, what your priorities are, etc

This is the worst thread I have ever seen.

You sir. deserve to get punched for being an ignorant ass. This is why park skiers get a bad rap douche bags like you. Also on a more positive note I prefer Alta, but they are both great.

The bird is the woooord. Haha depends on what you like. Alta is definitely jibbier, has more jumps and they let you build features which is really cool. Also the way Alta is run is way cooler, the vibe up there is pretty sick. The bird is gnarlier, more big cliffs and vert. Tram laps are fucking sick and you can go as big as you want. Snowbird is fucking metal, way less jibbers, all big mountain riders.

Pretty much this. If you like going big and getting gnarly, Snowbird. If you like a cool atmosphere and/or hate snowboarders, Alta. Both are great places. Snowbird has a significantly longer season (Alta closes early). Snowbird feels more like a "ski resort" while Alta has a little bit more of feeling like a community of skiers, at least imo. Alta has more traversing. Alta has some big cliffs and gnarly lines but not nearly as much as Snowbird. I like Snowbird more only because I like cliffs and chutes. If not for that I would probably like Alta more.
