they released the first single from it last week, and I'm really looking forward to what they can come up with this time, even though Gwil left. Every song on An Awesome Wave slays me, and I'm hoping for the same with the new album.

They've definitely altered their overall sound and production based off the single. Not as much layering, and vocals sounded fresh as well. I don't think it'll top An Awesome Wave, but it'll be a solid work
 
So excited for their new album, when I heard about it awhile ago, I was so pumped up for the rest of the day.

Just somehow by looking at those songs, I can say it'll be good. Hopefully "Bloodflood pt. II" has the same sound, because I love Bloodflood from "An Awesome Wave"

Love that song, but there's this small intermezzo at the 1:33 mark that needs to seriously fuck off. It's so annoying. I don't know why they chose to put that in.

It does seem out of place, but I can't say it annoys me enough to anger me. It's just Alt-J being weird.

Left Hand Free is definitely my favorite of the songs they've released so far. So simple yet so catchy yet so unique.

I'm so hyped for this album, it sounds a bit different from what they have released so far but it still sounds awesome
 
I really enjoyed an awesome wave, but am super disappointing in their single. It's got some weird pop shit and I don't really like the direction they are going in

Listen to the new album man, the singles they released don't do it justice at all
 
way more out there from their other stuff. its a stretch for me on about half of them, but the other half is sick. id say i like the last album more. iv been waiting for this to drop for months and i was slightly disappointed.
