Alright NS. Who has the nicest guitar?

good luck finding one. only 400 were produced in the reissue line. unless you want to shell out 3500 for a vintage one...

she got dropped. Buuut they replaced it for free, which is nice. Just cost me a drive to Denver.

i have a blueberry dreadnought i have no pics right now but ill try and get one up if i remember.

im also building a guitar right now its gonna be the nicest guitar ever im starting this weekend hopefully.

arguably one of the best setups i have seen from you, if not the best. where did you find the bridge anyway?

callahamguitars.com

This bridge is sick! It is made from more resonant metal than Fender uses for their guitars (including American and Custom Shop). The springs are stiffer, which is kinda nice since it also adds sustain. The threads on the vibrato arm are probably my favorite part; as there is ZERO play at all. I have exact control over the pitch!

My only complaint is that the vibrato arm doesn't bend upwards (away from the guitar body) like the Fender stock ones do. I think I'm going to heat it up and bend it a bit so that it's easier to grab.

Jazz masters are nightmares. For real. I work at a music store. I set up and fix guitars. And I have never had a jazz master set up really well for me. And what the fuck was fender thinking with those bridges? And the pickups are so noisy. and the wiring is so redundent.

p90s are ballsier single coils, so they're going to have the same noise issues and single coils...but once you get them quiet they're amazing.

i have a bass guitar called a 'barracuda' i think its pretty basic though. anyone confirm this or heard of a barracuda bass?

Not actually a picture of mine, but I've got one of these babies. She's missing a knob though, I should get one for it while I still can, supposedly they sell pretty well on ebay these days.

Damn, you guys got me jealous! Mine isn't on par with most of these but I still love it- 1994 reissue of the Telecaster Blue Flower. Depending on your style you'll either dig it or think it's gay, but you have to admit its pretty retro. (Shitty pics I just took, dosn't do the guitar justice)

i'l take some pics and put mine up when its not 4:23 am.. but anyway, i know pics or it didnt happen or whatever but just something kinda cool i figured i would share.. my cousin has a guitar collection worth over 75,000. its crazzzzzzzy.. he lives like 10 hours from me tho it sucks. il send him an email and see if he has any pics he can send.. its definitely something worth sharing with you guys.

aren't some of those classic rare ones worth shit tons of money? this dude was telling me about guitars like that that are worth 80,000+

you could retire on one of those.

Thats awesome. There's always been a couple of things that I wish would be made into guitars. I think an AK-47 guitar would be badass.

Been waiting for this thread.

damn some of you guys are loaded. anyway i have an epi LP standard with ebony finish. i took off the pickguard and im thinking of swaping out the pickups for some seymour duncan slash alnico II pro's. i bought it for $380 brand new last summer and i love it so much. while im at it i figure i might as well brag about my amp too. its a Marshall 40 watt all-valve tube combo amp. i dont have pictures of them but ill post a video from a while ago

Here's an idea:
Get better. You can have all the expensive pickups and gear you want, but it will always sound bad like in that video there because you can barely play. Practice, get a teacher, and THAT is the best thing you can do for your tone.
Spoiled kids with all valve tube combos. You wouldn't even know the difference at that volume if it were tube or solid state.

40w tube amps at bedroom levels sound like ass. I play a 5w fender tube and I still can't play it past 3 when I'm at home.
