I know some people keep wondering how Alpine is so I figured this would be a way to keep you all Informed.
Features:2 Handrails1 Flat Box1 Whale Tail Box1 25 Foot Flat Bar, setup at a slight up angle.2-3 Small rails in the baby park30 Foot Stepdown Jump
We should be adding more sufff everyweek. And maybe start blowing snow for the big jump line.
On another note. Last night the first ever double backflip was thrown at Alpine.

that sounds pretty good. looks like alpine is the place to go right know. kind of amazing they have that much stuff up already this early in the season.
i guess my goal is to get wilmot as good or better then alpine this winte

yeah i know im prettt impresssed as well.and we got the new cat. it was the 400 just they added the option of having the forklift in front.

thats sick that they got that option on it. one of my buddys from work went there tonight so i'm sure i will hear all about it when he comes in tommorrw.

Shot up there on monday, way to hold it down with so much so early. It made me glad I kept driving when I saw the wilmot sign on 94. Height and slope of the downrails was sweet, perfect to get back in the swing after skating all off-season. Will there be features on all three of the slopes accessed by mohawk?

when your riding up the mohawk chair to your right will be the big jump line. with maybe a box or two at the end of that run.to your left will be the rail yard, with maybe a jump at the bottom or the super rail hit.
and where the baby park is it will have alot of small crap all the gapers hit

My buddy was there on Monday or Tuesday and said that there was a skier there trying double backs, I guess he landed on of em too. I think I may try to get out to Alpine this weekend.

Update Number 2!!We added a few more things.SO as of right now:1 25-30 foot stepdown.1 15-20 foot table1 Telephone pole to gap off. (hittable for skiers)1 Flat Box1 Whale Tail Box2 Urban Rails.1 25 foot flat bar, set up with a slight upward angle.1 25 foot flat bar setup on a nice raised pad.
The large flat down rail is in the shop getting sanded down and painted. Should be up by tomorow or Saturday.
Right now the big quarter pipe is being built. So far its about a 20 foot tall pile of snow about 25 feet wide. The tranny has been started. The goal is so have it about 50 feet wide and 30+ feet tall. Its located at the bottom of shelter right next to the lift.
And im pretty sure the snow they are blowing on shelter is for the big jump line.
As for a snow report. They have been blpwing snow for the past 48 hours at least. In the park they have almost a 2-3 foot base. And same with on shelter.
For Alpine this is amazing this early in the season. Alpine is blowing up!

this is great, it sounds really good especially for this early in the season. i cant wait till they have every thing. cant wait to hit the new jumps and rails this weekend...... Hey is ur friend sponsered?

I will have to come do some recon and see whats out there maybe. can't just ride alpine. I would be killed by everyone at wilmot. it will all work out i have some crazy idea's in my head that i didn't get to build last winter.

thats kinda what is whats behind the huge q pipe. weve wanted to do it but never had the snowmakng capabilites, or the right groomer

Same features as my second update except we added a flat down rail and about a 30 foor flat box. and hopefully the quater pipe will be open, but not as big as stated before. it will be that big at some point. they just want it open earlier.

3rdWARD will be at alpine tomorrow everybody get there, huge sesh going down
then urban after that, meet us at alpine for details

check out this vid my buddy took on my phone, we found a cliff sort of thing off the run with the main park on it and we decided hey theres a bunch of pow down there we should hit it as like a cliff drop, so we did and after a few straight airs i decided to try a 3 off it....tell me what ya think...it was pretty sick until ski patrol came and kicked us off it...yes i know it sideways but thats the way my phone took it

ANOTHER UPDATE
1 25 foot stepdown.1 15 foot table1 Telephone pole to gap off. (hittable for skiers)1 Flat Box1 Whale Tail Box2 Urban Rails.1 25 foot flat bar, set up with a slight upward angle.1 25 foot flat bar setup on a nice raised pad.1 25 foot flat box.1 15 foot c-box.
1 25-30 foot flat down rail.1 q pipe. it needs some fine tuneing but fun for stall, it also has a "hip" like option on the right side.
The battle ship rail stills needs to be sanded and out up along with the down flat down box.
From what I herd they are working on a 5 sided volcano wall ride box, i have no idea what this look likes so it will be interesting. Then I think they are going to build a big down flat down rail.
Any other ideas for rails/boxes? Or features?

some more flat boxes would be good, its nice to have more than a few because you can arrange them in different ways (think d-f-d box, f-d box f-d-f box...)

well since my brother didnt say what they have up and what not, i will. . they just put the two handrail type things in yesterday. they have those up, whale tale, box, up telephone pole that slides pretty good, hip thing, 20 foot rail as a little up, jump, then another jump at the bottom. thats on mowhak park. shelter has like a 20 or 25 foot flat box, c-box, flat down rail, longer flat rail, and shitty quarter pipe and hip thing. thats what they have so far. as of yesterday night

yeah there was actually a lot of skiers there on saturday. but that was my friend with my other lethal descent on who did the 7 and backflip. Which skier were you? their lips arent that big. I like them alot

word is the are going to start blowing snow for the jump line on shelter in the next few daysand all the rails were taken out of shelter as well to blow new snow for the pads.they should be back in a few days.

so this weekend/break is looking pretty good for alpine. shelter looks like its going good and to be really fun. like my brother said, they took everything out on shelter but started puting everthing back in yesterday. so far they have the c-box in not as much up on an angle, the flat box that was up is now as a down box and they will be making making it side entry, the the 20 foot flat bar, and last rail is the battle ship which looks really nice. then the stupid quarter pipe at the end. the flat down is suppose to go up at the top of shelter but was not in yesterday. there is going to be two jumps on shelter. one is already made and finished( its about 15-20 feet probably, with a mellow lip), and the other one just has a big mound of snow and still has to be pushed and what not to make the jump. you will be able to hit everyrail in a row/run. and might have enough speed for a jump. the rails are all in a line with the jumps to the left. mowahk is pretty much the same. but the flat fat box is now as a down box. and the jump before the last jump is still gone..hope to see a bunch of skiers there this weekend and break
