does anyone know if alpine is going to be open this weekend? they'd be dumb not to blow snow seeing as the temps are finally looking good.

also who rides there, im at whitewater and i got some friends that work there so ill probably be there alot.

yo man im livin in MKE, got a seasons pass there. I called today, they havent even started blowing yet, so probs not gonna happen this weekend. Im thinking about checking out cascade though, heard they will be open on the 3rd

im sure there making snow tonight I watched wilmot fire there snowmaking system up for the first time this season on the webcam. And Grand Geneva was making snow too

I had spoken to Alpine about the new lift - they replaced the chair that is 2nd from looker's left on the hill. They also mentioned, though I didn't make it there in the summer, that there was a lot of dirt/earth work done at the top for the new lift so it will service more terrain more effectively. It sounded like the "Mohawk" lift wasn't going to see too much action this year with the new lift in place.

yeah thats what it looked like, im goin to whitewater currently and im tryin to get a job there but i got some friends that work there that can get me free passes, they'd be dumb not to be plowing with how prime the temps are... either way i might to to tyrol or cascade this weekend, maybe even olympia with as shitty as it is, they started blowing plus two guys from tyrol are runnin the place now so the park setup could be alot better

So I'll start from top of run to bottom

1. Flat Bar Down Rail

2. Up Flat Pole Jam or CPVC

3. Urban Down Rail or Urban Flat Rail

4. 15 Foot Jump

There is also that other run to the side of the park that has two beginner features.

just went today. they didnt groom shit. super icey and the inruns/jumps sucked. the jump at the end is a pos. they need to invest in a park crew badly

yeah i was there thursday, snow wasnt too hard but everything was super rutted out, it was real hard to approach and land, they have have a flat bar at the top thats nice but like i said really rutted out, and a corrogated but its like 5 feet long, the jump at the bottom pops you hard and the landing super chopped up, i got too go for 15$ so im not complaining

anyone going next thursday?
