Jump line is MONEY. very nice jumps as always, if not even a little better than normal.

yes. just got back from the shreadows and i have to say that yet again they have the best jumps in tahoe right now. soooooo smooth. you just gotta really charge into the last one in the afternoon to have enough speed when it gets slower. so fun though! some rail features would be sweet but i'm just pumped to hit a legitimate large jump! keep it up!

POACHER!! Don't you know this is an Alpine thread. Beat it! HAHAHAHAHA

Anyways, thanks for the compliments on the jumps. We worked a ton to get those jumps perfect. Some kids are saying it's the best Roo has ever been. The landings are extremely long. Rails are being reset nightly. It took a full week of pushing snow to get the decks stacked to the right height, so we had to move all the rails out of the way.

Unfortunately Nicks will not happen this year. The snow came late and "we" feel that it's a large investment this late in the year. Not to worry though because Kangaroo will be BIG until the end of the year. Hope to see you out there.

Yeah about that. A little more/ little less.

We will re-stack everything after this storm this weekend. Kids have been killing it it.

The spring pass is cool, only that Alpine is supposed to close on April 19th this year. JMA Ventures is not satisfied with the ticket sales, and don't want to run the lifts for much longer this season.

Check out this forum on UnofficialAlpine...

we've had both unofficial and employee confirmations on the date. I'm powderjunkie on the forum.

And please do join the forum. Make your voice heard. The more people we have, the more likely JMA is to notice.

a good number of us on this site already wrote Alpine off two years ago when JMA took over. They jacked all the youth prices up, sad because we are the one who have the hardest time affording a pass and are likely to be life time customers in the future. It's really a shame Alpine has gone downhill because their park staff is awesome and Jonahs is extremely talented at putting together a good park. I think JMA will drown in their own bad decisions, we tried writing letters back when they first started jacking up prices and they couldn't care less about the group they lost. We even had an official from Alpine say that it was intentional to get rid of the youth demographic there. I'll be happy when and if they go under and some good ownership returns. As for now it's all about Squaw and their new lowered prices.

disappointed. closing april 19th? i believe that is the same day as most colorado resorts... aka weak!! its is SUCH A SHAME to see that the amazing jumps built by jonahs are just going to go to waste. boycott JMA
