Alpine/Boreal making TONS of snow in the parks

Hey everyone,

Just to let you all know both Alpine and Boreal's parks are getting blasted with snowmaking. The guns have been going non stop for two days now and looks like we have good temps for the next few days. Boreal's park is in the middle of a major remodel..it's open but 4 of the rails have been pulled to make way for the new snow as it accumulates.

Haven't pulled any rails yet at Alpine but the jumps are getting built up and the park will be remodeled for the weekend as well.

just got back from Alpine and we (Jonahs and I) re-arranged the rails and built up the jumps.

here's the line up:

option- c-box and butter platue

option- down rail or flat rail

option- flat rail or jump(jump is now 25ft, twice as wide and much longer landing)

option- butter platue or jump(we moved this jump down hill to improve the flow and it is now 30ft and twice as wide with a much longer landing)

option- flat box or downhill box

40ft c-rail

PS----I'm off for 2 days but will be back to groom the Alpine park for Thanksgiving and finish remodeling the Boreal park for friday. Johny(head of grooming at Boreal) will be taking care of business till then. Expect some rails to move around or be pulled untill I return.

 
as far as pipe goes, heres the scoop....

any time that snow making is running at Alpine there will be atleast a few fan guns running at the top of the park to help get the base for the halfpipe. As soon as we get the rest of our beginner terrain open we can then focus a majority of snowmaking resourses to the PIPE and park. Of course if it snows, that will just help speed up the process.

Dude, my crew has been lapping the park mostly, but now that we got some snow we may hit up the off piste w/ you man. Libertys huh? Haven't seen that. Have you seen me? I usually rock out all gray, but lately i've done the plad orange pants w/ Oakley Anorak and '05 AR5s. I'm prolly better known for rockin' out the crazy hair w/ a pink trimmed headband.
