Alpine/Boreal its offical

^ are you just talking about their new park guy? i was hoping for a joint pass or something.. oh well, eric knows his parks, i can promise yall won't be dissapointed

~welcome to squawllywood~

Here's the scoop...

I'm currently at Boreal building all the new rails and funboxes for both parks, over 40 new features. The plan is to stay at Boreal until the Main Park and Pipe (nightline) are dialed in and then I'll focus on Alpines park for the Christmas holiday. After the first of the year I'll try my best to split time equally between both Alpine and Boreal as needed so both parks are up to my standards. You wont be dissapointed. As soon as I can I'll start posting pictures of all the new rails/boxes as they come out of the fab shop.

^Once again, god bless you sir. You are my new hero. I'm probably going to just follow you around if I see you at alpine...just in awe. BTW you have my dream job.

Jeff: Hey Geoff, did Ronny tell you not to wear any boxers so he could rape you better?

Geoff: No, I just put my boxers on backwards so the hole is in the back...it's alot easier that way.

'My knee hurts' (Jeff Merat after grinding a lunch table for an hour instead of sitting in the ski patrol shack for his torm mcl and acl which he got earlier that day.)

ask and you will recieve.

They made a steel ramp last year that was supposed to be fake stairs for a down rail. It was taken up on the hill but lost in a storm before it was put in place. its 8ft by 30ft and perfect for a wall ride. I had it brought down to the shop last week. just needs to be framed in and a fun box top added and its a wall ride. it demensions fit perfect with the direction I've been taking the wall over the past 3 seasons. It's going to look crazy but yet be super trickable and FUN. FUN is the key factor. Every wallride I've made since the first one for the Mack Dawg shoot 3 years ago has gotten slightly smaller, a little wider and a little more laid back. They keep getting more and more fun and user friendly. I'll leave the wallrides of monolithic proportions to Mammoth and Whistler. Been there done that...Unless you're a pro they aren't much fun and not very trickable at that size.

what's a bowl ride can we get some pics maybe.

It will be one of the last new features we build so I dont have a photo yet. Here is the concept drawing. Here's to give you an idea of what it will be like. The old 32ft c-rail will be the top. It will tipped up at an angle to form the bowl/curved wall and paneled in with plastic. It will be placed where the qurter pipe was last season.

Looks great eric. I have heard about all these new rails and boxes at boreal, but is there anything we can expect to be new at alpine?

any way we could demo them with this little bit of snow? Just shovel some snow up to one of the long rails ?? ill pay ya.

..Seth Pistols rock my fuckin socks..

sorry no testing. during the storm we got in sept someone cut the chains that secured all of our new picnic tables..set them up as jibs..basically made a big mess and caused some damage.
