So I picked up my alpha's this morning and skied this afternoon / night. (marker jester bindings - technia agent boots) My mtn doesnt have there park up yet so this is kind of just for groomers and a few small homemade jibs/ jumps. (Im 5'11" 200ish 176cm ski)

I was unpleasently supprised at the stiffness of the ski I know they'll soften but damn I was strugglin on my butters presses etc I was hoping I might be able to carve but not yet hoping thet the softening will make it better. My "park" experience was extremely limited today but I think the "rocker" helped b/c some of the kickers were kind of sketchy and they handled them fine (a two people got caught up on one of them out of like 15 so maybe it had nothing to so with the rocker idk) I kind of figured they wouldnt be great on groomers ... Im happy with them though...I'll post back once we get a park

if you cant butter on rockered skis, youre in trouble. lol

you want them to be stiffer, or when youre going faster youre going to have some major chatter goin on and it is a scary thing when your whole ski is bouncing up and down. trust that.

it makes sense that it would be hard to do legit butters where the ski is actually flexing, sure you could do butters where the tips or tail go 3 inches off the ground, but thats more like a revert. it doesnt matter if its rockered or not, it being really stiff will make it hard to do any legit ski flexing butters.

I didt say I couldnt do butters with them I said I struggled like they were 2in off the ground and holding a press for more than like 2 sec was hard b/c they were so stiff that they would kick out to the side
