Alpha 1 vs Reno Rocker vs Walls (09s)

which one of these sym skis would you recommend...all three are symmetrical. 2 are reverse camber/rockered/elfed...2 are stiff, don't know about Alpha's..

..or should I wait for next year when every company will have a rockered park ski? and then choose then.
 
the wall is very different to the other 2. A bit more info would help ie height weight ability where you ski, what you want the ski for ie butters , 60ft tables, pipe, all mountain.

There are very few people that have skied the alpha one but it does look like an interesting jibbing ski.
 
i dont think all companies will be making rockered park skis next year, if any start to. alphas are supposively really soft and they arent technically rockered, the only reason it is lifted after the sidecut reverses is because it would catch if only the tip went up.
 
I just want a versatile park ski...not doing any drops...but grooms and some tables..just something that I can have fun with on the piste, butters, switch tricks...just easing into this season after a major injury last season...

I was an aggresive skier. Just wondering which ski will be more fun...I'm 5'11 195 so I've narrowed it down to these 3 skis...but it sounds like the alpha is going to be a noodle for me.

I skied the hellbents all season everywhere but I want something easier to handle around my local mountains...snow is usually wet, not so dry ...I have the hellies for whistler and baker days.
 
So I finally saw the Alpha 1s. I had a good look at them, well as good as you can in a store....^^^was right about it not being reverse cambered or even rockered for that matter. It seems like the JJ has more of rise in the tip and tail portion after the sidecut sections...moreso than the Alpha 1s...but . I did a tail flex, mid flex, tip flex and compared them to the pipe,thall, and ar6 and they are definitely stiffer than all of them except for the pipecleaner. But they were surprisingly stiffer than what I thought...it was much stiffer than the ar6..which is one of the skis i had comtemplated on getting..

....don't know how well they'll ski but it's certainly made my choice harder. I need a stiff ski..cause of my height and weight and i think it's honestly a toss up...all 3 skis reno rockers, alphas and walls are around the same price ...but they're all different ..has anyone skied these or knows a review on these alphas besides the limited threads we have on this ski?
