Alpha 1 vs kung fujas for park (coreupt tj's...maybe)

need new park skis...i know these skis are pretty different, but lemme know what you think........now for the details

i'm 6'2'' 178 lbs.... whatever i buy will be used exclusively for park

(189 hellbents for pow). i live/work in aspen so the x-park is the

playground of choice. i'm about 50/50 rails/booters...and the booters

are usually big 50-65 ft stepdowns. i was thinking 182 for the alphas

and 179 for the peps (the 189 peps looked too big for park). i'm comfortable w/ a fatter ski in the park, but the peps seem like they might be

a little too soft for the big landings. also, i've been on ar5's for so

long that the alphas seem like a safe bet. last thing....does anybody

know how good coreupt tj's are or what they are similar too? i would wait to demo, but shop-form time is now!

I personally wouldnt get a another rockered ski for park if you are going to be hitting 50-60 ft booters on it. Unless you always stomp your landings you're gonna do a lot of wheelies. I have moment reno rockers (which, granted are a lot softer than the alphas and the fujas), and they are a little scary on big hits. If you already have hellbents for pow, would another rockered ski be the smartest addition to your quiver?

I'd go with a more traditional ski with a mid sized waist (similar to the kung fujas) and no rocker.

The coreupt skis look pretty fresh. Have you ever thought about chrnics or chronic cryptonites?

part of the reason that i'm looking at the fujas and alpha is because i like the rockerdness of the hellbent in the park......but w/ a 122 waist, they are not ideal (at least for me) for every day park riding

id go with the peps cuz armada hasnt impressed me and cuz you see collin collins hit big jumps in slush with them and not washing out so id go with the k2s
