Alpha 1 vs Alpha 2

I don't know enough about skis to make the decision. I did searchbar this by the way, none of them answered the questions I have. I'm 5'10'' I think, or pretty close to that, and 115-120 pounds. The alpha 1 is brand new, in the plastic, for 330. The alpha 2 is not brand new, mounted (buying without bindings) for 425. Alpha 1 = 182cm and alpha 2 = 176-178 or something.

SPARKNOTES: Im 5'10, both are 2010 skis, Alpha 1 = $330 alpha 2 = $425, alpha 1 = 182cm alpha 2 = 178cm. I like jumps more then rails, but am planning on doing rails again this year.

its a 182. it will feel longer than the 176, but keep in mind, the rocker profile of this ski makes it significantly shorter on snow than its size might have you believe.

having owned a 176 alpha, i can say it skis much shorter than my current 176 t hall.
