Not another Alpental thread! Yes, another Alpental thread. Next Sunday, if Alpental is closed, Ryan (Co-Flow) and my self, with Schwags as our servant will lead a trip up the clear cut accross I-90 from Snoqualmie. We will build some large jumps, or 'kickers' and huck our selves like stuffed animals being explored by horny preteens. Gross. Seriuosly though, we will have to hike so snow shoes or skins are advised, but Ryan said he has done it without them so they are not 100% necessary. Shovels are a necessity, unless you are a hot chick. We will be meeting at the North Bend McDonalds at 8:30-9:00am. Stay tuned for updates.

PS - If the weather sucks don't bother, we'll try to rescedule. Thank you, that is all.

 
Ok, this will be sunday the 12th! shovels and skins are highly advised but if you dont have them dont worry too much. The hike takes about 2 hours maybe a little longer depending on how deep the snow is. So far its me,alpentalik,schwags and a few others. I will contact the canada boys to see if they are down. Let us know if your coming, there is a logging road halfway up the mountain that forms a huge 25ft perfectly angled kicker. It resembles the whistler windlip. This really depends on the weather so if it rains we dont go but as of now its on!

If you have a transciever bring it but its pretty late in the season so avi's arent *AS* common

i really want to go and probably can if i can get a ride. oh man that would be fun. i got shovel and avi gear. i am soo there if i can. oh this sounds nice.

Hmm...I don't have much air time logged in, and only on pretty small jumps. Would this jump be unfriendly to beginners?

 
well yes this jump would probably be very diffucult for beginers....but that shouldnt stop you from coming out and giving it a shot.

i wan to build a hip/table kinda jump...like 20 ft long, but go like 20 ft up...thas what i want for sure

i would love to go you guys but its mother's day. damn damn damn. but i'll defenitly go if you guys ever decide to go any other time. sean (brit1275) are probably gonna go up on the tenth since we don't have school. we'll probably just go to alpental and build some jumps. let me know if you go some other time.

why don't they put a knife on a spork? doesn't that make sense to you?
 
yeah the good thing about the clearcut is all the possibilities, you can build a huge kicker off the middle, or build a huge qp, and hip jumps. So depending on how many people go we could have a couple different hits

Alpental is definately closed next weekend. Should we change venues to the cat track gap ryan? It looked sick today.

 
yes that is very doable, do you guys want to wait another weekend to do the clearcut? the cattrack gap is pretty dope
