Hi!
I'm looking for a pair of skis that handle all the parts of skiing :) When I ski in the offpist is it close to the pist, no hiking and so on... I'ts important that the ski is good in the pist and of course very playful for jibs. Skis i've looked at is Salomon 2012, K2 Revival, Armada Halo/Alpha 2, Armada Alpha 1, Armada AR7/6 and Salomon Suspect. I've tested Salomon Shogun one week but i think it's a little bit wide so preferably under 100mm and over 80 mmWhere should i mount the ski? Is the schizo necessary?
What of these skis is best in the park? Offpist? Pist?

Have a look at the Liberty Morphic, 93mm underfoot; designed to be a ski that does everything; wide enough for a bit of pow, poppy and light for the park and also very good for carving.

im ridin suspects and i love um. really good in the park and carve real well. i got um mounted center but if you went a little back i bet theyd be pretty good

Line Chronics are a great option for an all mountain ski. Set the bindings at -5 and they should be perfect for all mountain.

My Rossi S3's handle everything I throw at it really well. I ski 25% powder, 25% groomers, and 50% park. 90mm underfoot and pretty flexible, not too flimsy though.

Yeah I'm pretty interested in Halo and the most of the Armada park skis. Suspect seems to be really greatt in the park and pist but can they handle som offpist also? In the Armada line does all the park skis seems to be really awesome in the park, Halo and Alpha 1 seems to be greatest in offpist, but which of the armada skis handle the pist best?I can't go On3p cuz I'm from Sweden (Europe) and you need to buy them from America (?)...

We do international shipping, at $150 its pricey, and we're usually paying $50 more to get it to Europe... had a pair last year going to Russia that we got quoted $600 for, luckily found another option.

Wish we could get a distributor out there for you Euro guys, we really do!

Can't you On3p guys put an advertisement on Freeride.se tog a distributor in Europe. There are surely many persons there that are very interested... Or is it not that easy?

You really think so? I have a pretty tight budget cuz I'm just 14 years old and can not work and earn all the money for my self and don't think my parents will pay for it...

If i should buy the On3p blue steele should it be more than double of the price compared to for example Salomon 2012, Suspect so...

i cant speak for the durability all that much cause ive only had them about half a season but they work pretty well and havent fallen apart on me.

I love the Line Blends for everywhere. I have both blends and walls and I often find my self using the blends more in the park. The 100 waist is great for all mountain and it is still narrow enough to rip through the park with. This years are rockered too, which means more playfulness as long as you are a small guy. GET THEM!

You won't think of the domains because of fully symmetrical, but they really are dope for all round, 90 waist is plenty big enough for trees by grommets and it kills on groomers and park

I demoed a pair of Alpha 2's and there sick in every condition i hiked for some pow and they actually dont sink!!!!!!!!!!! but you gotta look after those bases

Im suprissed nobodys said it. I seen u were picking armada skis? Why not the pipe cleaner. In my opinion it is there best all around ski. Skis pipe the best. Park really good (expessiacly jumps), skis groomers and all mountian amazing with a race base for altiment speed. There not bad at all for rails and actually pretty poppy. Get yo self some pipe cleaners bro. They deff not just for pipe!

Chronics are another good option, 92mm underfoot is great for all mountain. Dont agree with mounting them 5 back tho, i did -2.5 and i love them. plus you can get last years ski for around $3-400ish US

I love my ar7s, wide enough to handle the occasional bit of pow, stiff enough for jumps yet playful and poppy. I have them mounted -2.5 and there prett good for piste, trees and park, although if you are going to be skiing a lot of groomers i'd go a bit further back. Ive only skied them for 6 days so can't say anything about the durability but Armada generally builds a pretty bomb proof ski and these seem no different.

Ar7's are the way to go. avoid suspects. stiff as hell and wont hold up for more than a season

Rossi s4's are an awesome allmountain-park ski. They are really stiff you they hold up really well on groomers, and they carve really well. I've used mine for 7 days so far and i'm really impressed. They are awesome for jumps and rails (they are insanely light). They were a blast in 4-5in of fresh snow in some glades. Their also insanely durable.

As for mounting if your an expert skier technically (carving, not ticks off rails) skiing a centre mounted ski on groomers and in trees won't be a problem. i've been on a centre mounted ski for the past 3 seasons and i ski them in everything from an icy park, steep groomers, 3 feet of fresh pow on a 45deg chute at whistler. They weren't the greatest at pow, but thats mostly because my old skis were 84 underfoot.

Rossi also has a +5 mount on their skis, its like 1.5cm back from true centre, I originally mounted my skis there and they were awesome for everything. I moved them when i got my new boots because i had to remount anyways. I personally like the centre mount better, you can;t really tell the difference except when your skiing switch. Both are good options, the you could mount them at boot centre but thats like 6.5cm back from true centre.

Sparknotes: S4's are a really good choice, i would really encourage you to look into them. They rip!

If you have any other questions pm me. I work at a shop and know a ton about twins.

REVIVALS
Funniest skis I have ever owned. Kill it all mountain, even centermounted. And that's in Utah.

i ride the K2 revival and love them, they are super solid on the jumps and i like that they are 85 underfoot so they give you a little more stability then some park skis. They are pretty light to and they have k2's new Jib zone which is sick, so its super easy to butter and shit. they do fine on the rails but that they are more truly a jump ski.

okey, it sounds really nice... I'm a person who likes pretty soft skis for jibs and so on, but for a ski that should be more allround revival maybe sre the perfect ski? How do the Revival pretend in the pist, off pist... ? Revival compared to the 2012, are 2012 softer and more rocker? How do the 2012 pretend in the pist? Where should i mount the ski i choose? 1-3 cm behind center?

Have you giving your stats yet weight, height, ability? It would be easier to help you bro. For instance if you are over 200 pounds you won't want a ski like the Tanners because it will be way too soft...
