Allmountain skis?

until recently i planned on buying the volkl karmas because they were the hottest ski at my mountain last year and they have received some pretty ski reviews

but when i saw them at a local ski shop the ski was a "flipped-up" enough on the ends, especially on the back end

so basically which skis would be good that are adequate in the park but can still hold a quality edge on the trails and powder

the ends of the skis were too flat

i want something with that is more of a twin tip with the ends bent upwards

Are you sure you were looking at the Karma's? This year's model has enough of a back tip to land switch in anything but 2+ feet of powder, so that shouldn't be a problem. I have a friend that has last year's and he loves them, they seem to be the best all mountain twin out there right now if you're an aggressive skier.

isn't it the jp vs juliens that have a higher tail than tip

Are you sure you're not thinking the Volkl mantras cause their tail is not way turned up but the KArmas should be fine.
