Allergy Season

It's allergy season and I am probably one of the most effected humans by the bastard that is allergies.

I've gotten shots for my allergies, eye drops, antihistamines, etc...

I live in the mountains in Idaho, so pollen season is flourishing like a bitch here, and I hate it.

Does anyone have any other ideas or other remedies to get rid of the stuffy nose and itchy eyes?

nose spray and claratin are my go-to duo, but my allergies are gone now, they were sooo bad for like 3 weeks in april

i'm going through some 13 week voodoo program with the witch doctor, most likely feeling a placebo effect but i'm ok with that

Well I don't have it as bad as you I don't think; loratidine seems to work just fine for me. I will say that if your allergies are that big of a problem for you, proper testing as to what you are allergic to and research about where those allergens are most prevalent might help. Perhaps in the future you can move somewhere where there are less allergens to bother you. I know I was allergic to nothing in Bend, Oregon, although there were people that were really sensitive to the Juniper (I think). It may be something to think about for the future.

I have the weirdest boner right now. Im trying to win that Hope. sponsership in that other thread, youre killing me man.

I grew up here, moved to Ohio, and to Florida. No allergies there. I did do tests, and am mostly allergic to everything outside that is in my life today. It's terrible. Loratidine two times a day.

Seems to help some, but I am still miserable.

I'll live though.

Thanks NS.

used to have really bad allergies, got tested and was allergic to like 17/20 I think. Mostly like pollen and dust and stuff. But usually my nose just gets really stuffy and it sucks. I've found that Nasonex works pretty good, and Drixoral if you need something fast.

I feel you man. I live in central PA which is one of the worst places for allergies. I'm on my second round of allergy shots, I believe this is year 7. I am also on zyrtec, Benadryl, singulair, and a nasal spray. I also have an eye condition which is related to allergies which I have 3 eye drops for during the spring. All I can recomend is finding a good allergist and going through the whole course of medicine to see what works best for you.

I got allergies for the first time this year. It's been sooooooooooo bad. I can't wear my contacts. Need eye drops constantly. Sneeze all the time. My nose wont stop running. I hate it. In Switzerland now, it's not as bad... but still annoying.
