Any truck with anything more than a leveling kit is just plain stupid for a DD. parts wear faster, shittier ride, look like a tool, big tires =lots of $$$ wasted
 
True, but the rest are facts. I would much rather take the money I would spend on a lift and big tires and build a budget trail rig and keep my DD stock

they make a replacement peice to replace somthing in the front. i havent looked into it much because i dont have any problems with mine. but its pretty much a lift kit but it doesnt make it any taller. the peice it is replacing dodge made it out of a cheap pot metal and thats the problem. replace it and your golden.
 
Death wobble can easily be fixed the right way which doesnt include ten steering stabilizers. Sometimes its worn out parts that cause it other times its the steering geometry being way out of wack.

No, that's not a truck. You may as well get an outback at that point: same amount of space but with a roof.

I say get a Toyota truck, whether it's a pickup (until '95), 1st gen Tacoma (95.5-04), or 2nd gen Tacoma ('05-present). I would also say get the 22re for the pickup (3.0 3VZ is a terrible engine), and the V6 for both Tacomas (3.4L 5VZ in 1st gen, 4.0L 1GR in 2nd gen).
 
no not quite. you can get a leveling kit to fix the problem to tho. but its just replacement parts that go in the same as a lift. mines lifted 4 or 5 in and i dont have any problems. drives almost just as good as my chevy that was just had a level.
 
it depends, do you want a bad ass truck with a motor that will run forever? get a 01+ cummins turbo diesel, 5.9 12v

if you want just a truck, OK gas milage (13-16) and an every day driver, get a silver ado,

if you want a truck that is the best of the best get a 6.6 duramax

if you want a truck that will be super reliable, great gas milage, get the 6speed tacoma. but for the price youll pay for a tacoma you could buy a bad ass diesel
