What is ur favorite hollywood ski movie of all time? I just got done Ski School and it is my fav, just wonderin what else is out there. So 80's ski movies are some sick shit, hehe. Laters

 
I had the real one from the store when I was a kid then I wore it out, and the other day it came on MovieCentral-Comic Strip @ 5 in the morning so I have a fresh copy, so i am good to go for awhile!!

 
Aspen Extreme is kick ass. It's got some sweet big mountain skiing and the powder 8 contest was dope (well kind of). Ski School's pretty sweet too but more of a hot dogger movie. Wasn't their a Ski Patrol movie or something too?

 
Yes there was a ski patrol movie, and it had tat George Lopez guy in it. I would also have to go with Aspen Extreme the The ice waterfall wall pretty sick.

dumb and dumber - not technically a ski movie but they head off to the rockies and play around in the snow so its good enough for me

What is the ski movie that is really fun, and at the start has that kind skiing down the hill racing the plane, then they goto his dad's shitty airport shop, and he is a really clumsy guy. It is like a ski speed race (top speed) movie, but I can't remember the name of it.

 
do you guys think if hollywood could make a good ski movie these days? maybe a heli-ski movie would be cool with a shane mckonkey-like character and some kick-ass female skiers. they should probably have a seth morrison and a boyd easley in there too. boyd always cracks me up with his 70's rock star antics.

it'd have to be a big mountain movie though. I think hollywood would screw up any newschool stuff and make it look cheesy. they'd show guys doing rails and spins with christina aguilera or britney spears singing in the background or something.

anyways i'm curious about what other people think

 
Hey, Gravity what happens in Downhill Willy? I think if hollywoood made a GOOOD newschool movive then the scene might get more popular, kinda like Fast and the Furious!

I think the Warren Miller with freestyle is Cold Fussion. A pretty cool movie.

Fast and Furious made Street Racing popular so I figured if they made a NS it would make NS Skiing popular, am I wrong???

 
im down with any warren miller movies and aspen extreme was kick ass! also i think superpark the movie was badass too, it was too short.

I think that Hot Dog is the best Hollywood ski movie of all time with Ski School 2 a close second. Hot Dog takes the cake cause it's old school.

For real ski movies Degenerates was the first 'new school' skiing video I ever saw and revolutioned skiing for me. 13 was a huge breakthrough too though.
