^yes i did notice that and it's impossible to decide whos the best guitarist because you've never heard everyone play. but i'd put my money on some classical guitar player...some of those people so good its all out craziness

To the people saying Page - he is way good and the ultimate badass, but not the most talented, he is sloppy, when my friend plays zeppelin it sounds better than Page, probably cause Jimmy was always drunk as hell when he played his shows.

ok for god sakes the best guitarists are not jimmy page or eric clapton, yeah they are good but nowhere near as good as the most talented. and page definitely was not the same on stage as in the studio, his live solos were absolute shit. Stevie Ray Vaughn is fuckin amazing though

mark knopfler (sp?) is probably the most tasteful guitar player

eric johnson may be the best, there are other reallly good guitarists
