All time favorite ski?

Probably should be in gear talk, but my 2016 armada b dogs have like no edge cracks (their edges are some of the fattest I've seen) and are absurdly fun for park skiing. They're 94mm underfoot for the 176cm, but have decent float in powder even mounted at a half cm behind center. Not quite as predictable at high speed as a ski with more effective edge, but They made a great east coast ski that was a good choice any day of the season.

for some reason this ski was close to perfect for my riding, soft enough to do butters and swerve, stable enough for me to ski fast and jump past the moon on bumps and natural hits.
riding switch felt more natural than i have ever felt on a pair of skis before. i also felt extremely comfortable with railing, since the ski felt very proper and strong, unlike many other skis made by big corp brands.
the durability was better than i expected, while the topsheet started to chip early, it didn't go into the wood of the ski. the ski fairly heavy, but it didn't really bother me in any way, since i don't really care about the weight.
after one season of hitting rails at high speeds, countless butters and good times, they are still holding up. only 2-3 edgecracks per ski, with no delam.
for being a "mid fat" park ski it does well in boot to knee deep pow, but deeper snow would be too deep.
the only downside i could find was the turning radius, i like a bit quicker turn, and these felt kinda like a 120mm wide pow ski. works fine when you get used to it.
so that's my review of my favorite ski

my 194 4frnt devs, don't use them often enough but they're the best ski I've ridden for charging about at full speed, popping off of everything and just generally having fun, especially in slush mowing down moguls and basically flattening them if I don't pop off them. Crazy fun skis

surface Outsider, the only honest to God quiver killer I've ever ridden. ridiculously lightweight for how much ski it is, handle any conditions I've ever had in both cottonwood canyons. my current pair is so fucked up after 3 seasons of bone zone and street and getting shredded on sharky rocks and like, they easily have another full season of it in them. gonna get another pair for sure when they kick it

OG Surface Watchlifes. Not sure if it was the ski, or the fact that I progressed a lot that year because I worked at the hill and skied everyday. Landed my first k-fed with those bad boys. Now I get out maybe 5 days a season if I'm lucky, and cant do a k-fed for the life of me.... maybe this year is the year I land it once again!

Great answer! Kids today might not believe this, but there was a time when the Salomon 1080 was the ONLY twin tip on the wall at the ski shop. They were very exotic at the time, people looked at you strangely back then if you skied twin tips or fat skis everyday.
For me, it would either be the Volkl Explosiv in a 190 or the 4Frnt EHP in a 186. When I lived in Tahoe I skied the Explosiv just about everyday. I liked it because it had limited sidecut, but I could force it to turn when I wanted it to. It was a great ski for pow, and for straightlinig the Palisades. I left Tahoe in 2004, so right about when the Volant Spatula was changing the game. I love the EHP because it is incredible in powder, but also very versatile. I can make quick hop turns in firm steeps when I want, but I can also make huge pow turns. It has just the right combination of rocker and camber, making it stable but also floaty. I only ski 40 days a year now, I'm a weekender, and I would have loved to have the EHP's when I lived in Tahoe.

Icelantic Nomad 95 sounds like exactly what you're looking for. They are super light skis especially for 95 underfoot and there is a lot of rocker tip and tail. I don't know how soft they are since i haven't broken them in yet but even new they are pretty soft. If i were you i would watch a video about them to see what you think.

The 2013 Armada ARV has been my favorite ski I've had. It rode super nice being that it was technically an all mountain ski, but just worked great as a park ski. I had mine for years and put them through the ringer (Park, Groomers, Mellow Back Country, Urban) and never got so much as an edge crack.

K2 Shreditor 102. such a fun ski that you can do literally anything on. Never had a single problem with this ski other than normal wear and ive had it for 3 years now

I've skied probably 175 days on mine and absolutely love them.
Awesome in the pow/slush/crud and still able to rip some turns on groomers with them too.
They honestly make skiing fun again because you can charge in almost all conditions and still soft enough to mess around and jib off of anything.
Just picked up a pair on the 100's because I love the 120 underfoots so much

Rossi Slat was the best ski for my needs. Closest I've come to it is the Salomon Rocker 2 100's. The Rossi Slat just beat it out in durability by lasting for 2.5 seasons. Once I broke them in they had the best damn flex out of any ski I've owned -- they could charge hard (I rode them at Mt. Bohemia for instance) and they still were fun on smaller park rails & transitions. The Black OPs 98's are on my list of must-cop
