neva come out of a movie feelin so tired from concentrating
gonna have to watch it like 10 times to actually figure out what happened

Watched it this afternoon, spent most of the skiing section trying to work out what skis they were on, failed, think I saw both rossi and salomon bindings though.

Such a fucking good film though, def going again whilst it's at the cinema.
 
I was in total shock when I came out of this movie. I could watch it a bunch more times and probably understand more stuff every time.
 
I watched it a second time and picked up insolvent much new stuff.... It was so awesome. The skiers should have been on jjs or something though...
 
It was shot at the old Fortress Mountain ski area in Kananaskis provincial park in Alberta. Last August when driving through the park I saw the fortress tower which they built along the main ridgeline beside the top of the old triple chair, should have taken a picture. Didn't look quite as big (I'm sure some was CG).

During the ski and avalanche scenes, you can see a bunch of it was shot just out of the old boundary near the top of the chair and you can see the chair towers/cables for the old backside double chair. I think some of the ski chase scenes were filmed on the farside in those gullies (just a guess).
