All perfect northers, check it.

Yo guys, just trying to work out this season financially and decided to share one of my ideas.

I am going back to school January 6th or 7th, and am looking to purchase a gold card. If anybody would like to buy the pass from me to use from January xx - Early March when the season ends, I would sell it for a very affordable price, since I would only be using it for a month.

I was thinking if someone could buy it the day before or of I go back, I would sell it for $120 OBO. I really can't justify spending the full amount for just a month's worth of the season. You get your money's worth in less than 3 trips, which could very well be a half-week of skiing for you guys.

I know this sounds kind of weird but I'm really trying to come up with ideas to be able to ski a lot while I'm back, and having my picture ID opposed to yours is not a problem, I've used my friends tons of times. Any other ideas are appreciated, think about it!

Which resort is better/cheaper? I hear nothing but good about PN whats paoli about? Anyone have any edits or pics from either...toss em up, id like to see anything...

Wait.... you hear nothing good about PN. Your joking right?

Perfects is the best place in the area by far, no joke. Best of pretty much everything in the midwest. i mean if you are talking park, Perfect North won park of the year last year, the Park crew and managment team there is ballin also. Plus the vibe is the best out of any other resort i have been to, people are just soooo chill here. Not to mention PN is home to PFC.

Dont get me wrong, Paoli has some cool people up there, but you really cant conpair any other resort with how amazing PN is. BEST vibe this side of the Misissippi river, no question.

liked the edit, that place looks good, solid in fact....ill see you guys there im sure, do they have rail jams and what not? WOW, im just pumped for the winter...italics!

Yep sure does. This year there are going to be at least a eail jam, and big air event.

Plus last year we had a friday night jam every other week, not 100% sure if they are coming back but i would say so. It overall a very good place. Happy to see new faces.

im skiing paoli this season. but i am def going to ski PNS 09-10 season.

i ski paoli and i think that pns is better.

but im not ganna lie, paolis got something coming for us this year

Dude, you have no idea some of the things we have planned for perfects. It's going to be soooo good this year.

bahaha just buy a pass to PN cuz thats what the paoli locals do since there park opens late in the year and paoli open and closes a lot more in the first couple of months than PN also PN won best park in indiana

Actually, I believe it was best park in the mid west. Could be wrong.

But the park staff is really unmatched around these parts, they work there assses off all day er day.

haha PNS is the shit.. small mountain but the runs are still reallly fun and dont get really old.. the park is fucking sick the crew out there makes sure everything is perfect.. rails and ramps whatever you like they almost always have it.. i live in cincy and my friends drive out every chance that we get.. cant wait for this year

does anyone know if/when PN will have the ban on jumps or big jumps..? Like everywhere else that used to be good...Ill be going every other if not every weekend..

Pretty much in the MW, theres only a few insurance companies that are big enough to cover a resort. And most of those companies are refusing coverage if they build jumps at all or something like a jump over 4' not sure... But many of resorts dont feature any jumps anymore...Nubs Nob, Cascade (tear), well shit thats all i can remember now...oh and a ton of resorts well in the interior of Canada...just wondering...insurance companies will soon control the world

There will be no ban on jumps at Perfect North Slopes. As long as i build the park, i will do all in my power to be sure that there is some feature in the park that will allow riders to get off the snow. Our Resort is very adamant that we don't fall into the "No Table Top Jumps" category. Though there are lots of resorts seeming to resort to this policy, it typically isn't an insurance mandated policy, it is a resort incurred policy. All of the resort of the RCR Inc. in Canada chose to implement this policy, i don't believe it was forced on them, as well as with the Boyne Mountain Resorts. If all of the major Insurance companies implemented this policy there would likely be an uprising of the resorts of the country and it wouldn't last long. I can see how these resorts would come to the realization that they need to implement this policy, however they are invariably setting themselves up for an even bigger problem when, in the future, they decide that the "No Table Top Policy" is a failed attempt at something aimed to keep the public safe, and put Jumps back into their parks.
Even if the insurance company gave the orders that there are to no longer be "jumps," it is my opinion that we would build "Hips" or "step downs" or "Step Ups" or "Booters" or some other feature that would allow the rider to be elevated off of the snow surface. Point being, you can label a feature anything and it "isn't" a jump, or Table Top. Its all in the definition.

I just threw that in there...
