It is 3am on the east coast, and I have the following 3 assignments due tomorrow.
1) Must turn in powerpoint slides for an astronomy presentation on Dark Matter so that prof can cue up all of our presentations on one long, seamless powerpoint file to save time...he can go to hell for this, my presentation is after Thanksgiving.
2) Have to do a intelligence survey of all of South America which includes analysis of demographics, different economies, regional conflicts, threats posed to the US, etc etc etc, blah blah blah. 5 pages, not that bad but I have a presentation on it tomorrow night in front of a General.
3) 10 page paper comparing two different Middle Eastern countries and determining if one or both of them could be considered a "failed state." I chose Iraq and Turkey. Woo this awesome.
Bottom line, all of it pretty much has to get done tonight. I started all of them already and worked on them a little yesterday as well. I should have finished them this afternoon though...but I'm graduating in 3 weeks and I have zero motivation to work, so I've been working on them for like 30 minutes at a time all day, then running off and doing other shit. God, it is so fucking hard to focus right now, I'm going to go have a cigarette and plan my next move. Looks like I'm probably going to be on this shit til breakfast time. Who else is up all night tonight??????
 
Same here man. I have 2 drawings due for art tomorrow. They are worth a fat chunk of my final grade too. I just took a lil bit of addy though so i should crank taht shit out in no time. Good luck with yours man!
 
mee. but not cuz im have legit shit to do it's just because college ruined my sleeping habits and turned me almost nocturnal. good luck on that stuff though!
 
that sucks bro, get of NS and go put in some work... I'll prolly be up all night tonight, not for work just cuz ive been having trouble sleeping... ii might do a lil work though... good luck, and good for you for graduating, thats tight... i still got a lot of school ahead of me
 
Yah man the intel survey and the astronomy thing are kinda formalities because my grades in those classes are great. The mideast paper is the hardest assignment though, and it's really important because I took a shit on the first test...he hasn't given us any other grading opportunities either, so this paper and my final are pretty much make-or-break. I'm trying not to stress too hard over it, but it's definitely in the back of my mind while I'm working on it.
 
ahhh wow that sucks. good luck on all that.

theres a possiblity i will be up all night... yay for humanities papers.
 
Yah with my thesis and shit the last couple weeks it's been the same for me. I can't wait to go home for Christmas and sleep for like 2 days straight before I move to CO.
 
last time i pulled an all nighter i fell asleep in my car and missed the class for the all nighter i pulled. not happy.

not totally sure yet, gf is moving back to denver cause that's where she's from, Im gonna crash with her friends and my friends from CU out in summit and eagle until i find a place. i decided about a month ago that ive got too much school work and shit to worry about finding an apartment way ahead of time, so im gonna sort it out when i get there. im driving out around christmas.
alright guys im gonna go kill the mideast paper, ill update in a while and see if anyone is still alive. if i get through that then everything else should be cake.
 
sucks man, few weeks back i did a week of all nighters to hand in 2 art subjects years work. the sleep in after makes it worth it lol
 
alright mideast paper lookin good but not finished, just spent like 15 minutes making a stupid post in the entourage thread that was waaaaaaaay too long
anybody else still awake?
 
im still awake from when i started this thread, btw...going on like 30 something hours total...
the worst is when like 730am rolls around and you have to start getting in gear for class and shit. like i was sitting here and i was still totally pumped and cruising along and i had just finished one of the assignments and i had good momentum going into the last phase of my big one when i had to get up and shower and go get some breakfast.
then as SOON as i got to class i ran into two of my friends who were also up all night working on papers, and we started talking about how weird it felt to turn the corner from that and try to transition into a new day, and i just started going crazy, like sort've hallucinating and getting reaaaaallly into the stuff i was drawing in my notebook instead of taking notes...and i felt like every time i looked up my prof was staring RIGHT at me. creeped me the fuck out.
anyway, still goin, got this presentation tonight and im on the home stretch with all this shit! aghhhhhh!!!!
 
i have 3 hours to read an english short story and write a response thingy to it, write a paper on andy warhol for humanities, make an oral for humanities on norman rockwell and write another thing for arts and ideas. all this before i go skiing. work before shredding
 
that's actually a much tighter situation than i was in...i got most of my shit done but im chilling cause i got a mini-extension until midnight on the longer paper
 
I feel your pain to a degree, i was suppose to have 4 pages of this 8 page paper done today but i could barely focus enough to get 2 pages done last night. Oh well, shits not due til after thanksgiving.
 
reminds me of last year, i had just gotten into bed and was JUST thinking "man it feels so good to go to bed when youre tired and blazed" when my buddy called me and alerted me we had our group project due the next day at 10, which we hadnt even thought about starting, so we took a little adderall and went to the library and banged it out, and we were so out of it before class at 10 that we blazed like ten feet from the door of the class like idiots.. oh well we didnt get caught and we were nice for class
 
yah just wait until youre a senior, then youll be vomiting like 5 pages a night just to stay alive. thank god im done on the theeeeeeeeee 12th? yah, i think the 12th, after that my biggest concerns are going to be weather radars and making sure i dont get so drunk that i sleep through first chair on a pow day.
