All mountain twin?

i keep skippin around on what i want to get for this year but the basic thing is is that i need a ski that i can race on (not seriously, just ihgh school, reason to ski but not get embarassed) has to be a twin tip so i can still do the fun stuff, and not too pricey. i have a pair of 08 invaders for rails and shit so these skiis im gonnna keep a solid edge.

i was lookin at the pipecleaners cus my invaders edge sucks for pipe and ive heard the pcs are sick skiis for all mountain. but there lik 700$ so any help?

el rays? last years pcs? 4frnt stls? salomon lords?

The el rays seem perfect.
playful but NOT to playful for racing.
twintip.
not to fat for racing but fat enough to enjoy a little pow
get em.
how tall are you?

pipe cleaners would be my bet. and just get last years they're pretty much the same thing.

actually...my public enemys do actually slay race courses, but they're definitely not playful. if you wanted a purely racing/allmountain twin thats not very playful then they'd be good. and they're super cheap.

i have pipecleaners and they pretty much rape...
solid, powerful skis, with some pop, but they're pretty stiff.
if you want some playfulness go for the ar6 they're a little softer
for crud and stuff i'd go for pe's though... they're the toughest ski i've ever ridden and will never deflect or wobble in crud.

i heard ninthwards are legit too, they switched factories this year to elan

Longest pair of pipecleaners you can find, and mount them 4 back of center.

My buddy used them for racing last year, and kicked ass hahaha.

actually thats not a bad idea^
i could hook you up with some used rossi slalom skis from a few years ago, in 166 (you want slalom skis short, i used them last season and i'm 6'3''). i'd do like 100 shipped. no bindings. then get a legit pair of park skis that aren't invaders. PM me for details/pics, but i used them last season and the bases are super good and full of high fluoresce race wax.

and if you do get a separate race ski, get a slalom ski, as a GS ski will get raped in a slalom course.

Line Chroincs..... and maybe even Chronics... you could also consider Chronics.

I've had 2 pairs (actually 3, but sold one brand new) and I've loved everything about them.

They are super durable, always have a great design, really poppy and lively, stiff to make everything stable, and you can find last years models almost always for under $250 or even $225.

Or u could just go with the Gotama and look like a boss shitting on people with a 105 waist ski on the race course........just a thought though lol

do the same thing but i bought a pair of cheap race skis and got ar6s ill sell u a pair of atomic 165 race skis with atomic race bindings on them they were only used for one year i got them of a kid who was sponsored by atomic for racing ill sell them to u for 200 and u pay shipping

I agree with everybody that says get a pair of used race skis. Tune them up for hardpack. Let em rip with confidence.

I've taken AR6's and Bridge's onto an easy GS course and they all blow out in the ruts when it gets real. Sure u can have a race base like the Pipe Cleaner but if u want a touch of seriousness get a race ski for the race course. Otherwise jsut about all the skis mentioned are good all-mtn and hardpack.
