All-mountain skis?

Hey, i'm going to be buying some new skis in the next year, and i want to know what are some good all-mountain skis. Good in Powder, good in the park (somewhat, the least priority), and good in glades, etc, etc. The price range i'm looking at is about $600. Anyone have any suggestions?

Skiing is life, and without life, no one would be here. So everyone owes something to skiing.

if you dont know what glades are, dont reccommend an all mountain ski...i'd go for the salomon 1080's (if you want a twin tip) or the rossi bandit XX (best all mountain ski made, with a bit of a twin tip)...both skis are great, and i highly reccomend both

oh, wait..$600 (the 1080's will be about $800-900 this year (cdn) and the rossi's are $900) if you can find some of last years bandit XX those would be about 600, or try the x-scream series, or atomic beta-ride 9.22...i guess those would work pretty good

Glades are deep trees with powder in em. Buddy, go with either Bandit XL or XXL otherwise the stiffness will jolt your light little body all over da place

i know i can get skis for cheaper than 600$, that's the maximum i'm willing to spend

HEY, please dont buy any bandit XX or anything like that if you are planning to use them as a twin tip. If you are going in the park, buy a twin tip, alot of them , esp rossi twin tips are good all over.

Hey try to get a 00-01 or 01-02 Volant Machete. You if you can find them for a good price they are the ski to get. They are twin tips but are espically made for the whole mountain, not the park. They work well in the powder (not a true powder ski) but are stiff and strong enough to run the trees, groomers and anything else on the mountain. I strongly suggest you look into a pair. (No I am not a Volant rep, or sponsored by Volant...I wish I was...truley love the ski)

why wouldnt they buy bandit XX??? read what they want...park is the least of their worries...and the rossi XX has a half twin, so it works fine in the park...i used to ski park on a pair of Head cyber Ti Speed skis...no twin at all, and i could still stick 5s and 180s

Sorry about the glade thing, here in jackson hole we call that powder in the trees. Sorry, but I think I am qualified to recommend an all mountain ski, Ass. But seriously darkside is probably not the best way to go if you don't want to put effort into skiing.

my 1080's held up pretty well. i spent most of my time out of the park. next years will be perfect for what your looking for seeing that they will be more stiff

i ride enemies. I think their great all mountain skis. I don't spend alot of time in the park, but when i do they kickass at that too

don't get anything from line. the machete 69 is pretty sick for all mountain and i heard this year they're not gonna be made of steel so they'll be lighter.

Atomic Stomps, they look so sweet, a pretty fat ski with a twintip

are atomic freezones any good? Also, do Line skis, such as the skogans hold up well, or not?

freezone rodeos are sick, nice and stiff.

the skogens hold up nicely but like all lines they're centre mounted which only really helps you in skiing switch

i ride X-screams~they're not too good in the park but then again neither am i~they feel like logs on ur feet and thats how i like em cause they tear up the ice and hold it really well and when i went up north they floated pretty good on the powder~so id recommend those if u dont spend too much time in the park

yeah...and being an ass is a reoccuring theme of yours poopfinger...cant you find something better to do than dump on me for anything i say?

Skogens rip, I have em and they fucking rule all over the mountain. I've got em set up tele, and I can keep up or go faster than all of my racer buddies on any terrain with them. Oh yeah, the racers in jackson are just fucking normal jibbers.

There's another obvious one... using deductive resoning one would conclude, that the amount of time I spend on this damn computer would mean NO, I most definatly do not have anything to do, besides heckle you.

OOOOH but lookie here, I see you have come to grips with your carved take-off issues, so I CAN lay off you a little now. Good Day kind sir.

skiwolff15, thats the MAXIMUM i am willing to spend, for the last time!
