-east coaster with 1-2 trips out west a year-6'2 160 level 3

-budget of 5-600 (without bindings)

-BUTTERY AS FUCK butt solid on jumps, rails idc

looking for something to shred that occasional pow day and to ride out west, but that holds up in the park and hard pack

some ideas

-shredditor 112

-pettitor (last years)

-sir francis bacons

(around 105-120)

Shredditor 102 would be a good choice, but it has a way more directional rocker profile than the fujas did. IMO DON't even think about going bigger than 110, it's not worth it if you are going to be skiing ice coast hard pack most of the time on it. Armada al dente may be another good choice.

if you like soft ski than get a line blend. if you like a stiffer ski that can still jib, than Moment PBJ or ON3P Jmo.

I wouldnt go over 102 mm underfoot for the east coast. on your two trips out west, blends/pbj/jmo will be fine for boot deep powder. If you get lucky and it happens to dump 3 feet while your vacationing out west, then just demo a pair of fattys. You will not enjoy underfoot>105mm on the east coast. you can do it, but its not ideal.

well i remember awhile back collin collins posting about how great the 112s were and how they replaced the 102s as his one ski quiver. He used them all summer at hood in variable conditions including the park

I normally dont post in these threads because of my bias, but I would suggest the ON3P Jeffrey. 110 waist, camber, and near symmetrical tip and tail rocker. I think the video below speaks for the ski's versatility.

No. They aren't soft either. They are extremely buttery and playful. Bamboo and carbon fiber is a pretty sweet combo.

Have the Bacons, super fun ski. I used them in the pow and occasionally in the park. Their only downfall is heavy chatter on hard pack because of how soft they are.

i just bought the al dente and seriously impressed, for what you need i would definately give them a try

The sherdittor 112 sounds like the ski for you. I know that guys like Andy mahre were slaying it around the whole mountain last year. The only problem would be the height. Also check out the 4frnt YLE or daveststor they will slay for you as well

yah after reading some reviews it seems like it handles surprisingly well on east coast conditions and is quite nimble for a 112 waisted ski.

I ski on the east coast and ride on obsetheds. They are a little wide for the east coast, but hold up super well on groomers and crud. Super fucking buttery on the tips, but maybe not your best park ski. I do take them into the park just because its my one ski. You can get them like 80% off now just because they don't make them anymore
