All In Favor of Midwest Series Event 10-11

Who would be interested in a series comp. next year? Much like the old MWX but with legit judges, good prizes, and a reasonable entry fee. The Paoli park manager and I have been talking about pitching an idea to peak resorts for a midwest series. Probably detailed to BMBW, MadRiver, PaoliPeaks, and even though not a peak resort, we would try to get PNS. Just wanting to see what the demand is for something like this and if it is worth pursuing. I think it would be a good idea to allow kids from all resorts a chance to visit the others and make it worth their while.

That would be reall sick...like bsweet, paoli, pns, mad river....good be super legit...would take a lot of planning and what not but I would love to see that happen
 
That would be one of the sickest event to ever happen to the midwest. PNS killed it with PF7C This year.
 
yea get some big sponsors and advertise, so it can be legit and not just one category (skiing) make like three, 16 and under 17 and older and pro
 
Yeah, planning is under way for next year, It will be hard to organize but if we do it right we can make a good comp with a big turnout. good catargories will definitely be a must...basically gettin a hold of sponsors right now.
 
Yeah, no go on the age groups. Just had a 5 hour meeting about the series tonight and all is under way. more meetings to come and everybody better be ready for a sick series this coming winter. Feel free to leave me a message on any ideas you have for the series. All input is welcome. Also just put a comment if you are interested so i can start to get an idea of what the turnout will be like.

this sounds awesome. i love travelling to different hills and would definitly come out for this. just wondering tho what kinda comps are these gonna be? like big airs, slopestyles, rail jams?
