Well another big storm front is bout to hit the east coast in the form of... wait for it Fucking rain. Boston will nejoy an inch and a half of it over the next two days
 
We're supposed to get 6-12" tonight, I can send you some in a box. Just remember it's still January, winter will eventually come.
 
yeah it blows...weve had days when it almost reached 60 and thn 2 days ago it almost reached 10 so its weird i cant keep my set up up long enough to even hit it up
 
Not really man. Most midwest ski areas are done making snow in towards the end of January. Some ski areas closed completely because of this rain. Good thing my hill got an early start, and still has a badass park. But yeah, rain = bullshit
 
i was watching a special on the weather this winter, and it said to not have this warm weather fool you, they are saying that this winter will be like 1996 where we got a ton of snow

the predict 2-3 over 1 foots storms coming and winter is gunna last well into march
 
Were supposed to get up to like 8 degrees celcius here tomorrow... (Halifax, NS). Total snowfall this year: I'd say
 
Yeah last night Quebec city was supposed to be hit with 40cm of snow!!!

I got up this morning to ice rain, 50mm of it throughout the day.FUCK
 
everyone should stop bitching about the east coast, you get to ski, thats enough not to whine about it, go move somewhere else if you can handle the ice.
 
but hopkinton where he moved from i think has no snow right now, the rain already got rid of it all. i can look outside and not see any snow at all, and its around 60º outside

yay for west coast. this last week we were getting about 10 inches every day
 
Which means...All the snow basically can't make it past the divide. Therefore, Vail is having a record breaking season.
 
my snow boogie jump is the only snow left in my town after the downpour today and 50 degree weather. looks like more spring conditions throughout the week.
 
It rained fuckin hardcore here in Leb, NH. Sunapee is gonna be a wreck this weekend...hopefully the summits of either Okemo or Killington got dumped.
