Alien caves on mars

Definitely interesting, but I think it may be a false call.

Warmer at nighttime may be due to underground/core reactions, like there are inside the earth (nuclear reactions).

Cooler at daytime, well, the underground reactions may be constant, and give off a temperature which may be lower than outside temperatures.

i dunno. it'll be interesting to probe it further

yeah, definatly interesting, they should send up another camera like beagle2 (i think that was it) and make sure it works so they can look inside

nuclear reactions? no way

i think theyre warmer at night and cooler during the day because thats just what temperatures inside caves are like man...

exposed surfaces change temperatures more readily than surfaces that are underground...

i find it funny how they say the caves are "too high in altitude to host life." id like to meet the scientist who already knows about the aliens and what altitude they can live at

They know the topography of mars very well so they can speculate that the gases that we believe neccessary for life would be insufficient at those altitudes but you do have a very valid point.

this is cool cause i was just talking with my bro about this 13 year old german boy who claims that in a previous life he was a martian on mars, this kid was fluently speaking by the age of 8 months, and hwne he was seven he came out about his past life, and scientest have interviewed him and are certain that no 7 year old boy could imagine everything he knew

an example is at seven he explained that martians dont often come to earth because we breath oxygen hear and oxygen is what ages us.

he also talked about how on mars they breath some kind of gas, i foget, but it allows them to live substancially longer lives, just thought this was cool
anyone else hear about it?

Exactly. I hate it when people tell me there cant be life on most of the planets because theyre too cold or dont have oxygen or something. How can they know how life would have evolved in other planets?

in order to create the smallest single celled organism you need a series of gases and certain temperatures. most planets don't have the right amount, and the earth is perfect. you dont understand how lucky we are. if we didnt have mars, we'd get raped by asteroids.

Actually, if we didn't have Saturn we would get raped by asteroids. Don't argue, I just read something about this.

Speaking of aliens, heres a weird story..

http://www.news.com.au/dailytelegraph/story/0,,24069817-5001021,00.html

FORMER NASA astronaut and moonwalker Dr Edgar Mitchell - a veteran of the Apollo 14 mission - has stunningly claimed aliens do exist.

Chillingly, he claimed our technology is "not nearly as sophisticated" as theirs and "had they been hostile", he warned "we would be been gone by now".

^Why dont we ever find really stupid aliens? anyway, read the rest of the story

im feeling pretty inspired right now. i have always had a firm belief that we are not all there is and it is ignorant to believe that there is no possibility of "life" existing somewhere else in the universe. there is no way we can truly understand that at this point but one day we may be able to. all we can do now is be open minded.

i thought it was a really inspiring article and id love to meet this kid, the thing about him stating that there will be a major global disaster in 2009 and a worse one in 2013 is really cool.
