I respected the guy until skibrdginbitch was telling me how she 'dated' him for her two weeks at camp. Hahaha god, I dont know whether to feel worse about skibrdginbtch being an idiot, or TJ and his new batch of STD's- dspin7x
 
old stuff is shit. it is a rip off of skycamefalling. the newer stuff sounds like it might not suck soo bad... but it haven't listened to it. i just heard one song on much music once. but yea... there are hundreds of beter bands with similar styles, that have been around for a lot longer, and just would rather play good music than try their hardest to get on the radio and have 15 year old girls following them around. oh and their lyrics suck ass. but i guess a band thats only goal is to get on much music really doesn't need to say anything worth while. so to sum it up, they are entirely unorriginal, and completely lack creativity, but are good at selling themselves. how hardcore is that? oh thats right... not at all. they suck.

i wanted to see the alexisonfire/hopesfall show in kingston last night, but when i show up there were 700 people waiting in line for doors to open, and 650 of them could not have even been in high school at this point...they all likely saw alexisonfire on much music and got their parents to buy them tickets to this show.

so long story short, all i wanted to do was go in and hear hopesfall again, because word has it that they were playing some new tunes. but those pre-teen bastards ate up all of the tickets, and i couldnt go and support one of my favourite bands.

yea i wanted to go see hopesfall as well just because they are so damn good every time ive seen them...but im not a fan of alexisonfire and i didnt want to have a bunch of screaming 12 yr old girls around me...so i didnt go.

^ hopesfall or alexisonfire? because alexisonfires new stuff is much better than their old. i still dont really like it..but at least they are improving. and i like hopesfalls stuff...all of it.

I used to listen to a couple of their old songs and think they were pretty good, but they got old pretty fast.. They aren't a band you can listen to their whole CD over and over. Even now when I listen to any of their songs I find they sound like shit and I can't believe I would sit through listening to a bunch of their songs.. You can't understand anything and every song seems the same.. Green Day is where it's at!!

 
alexis on fire have been around for like 3 years max. they used to open for my friends band a lot, so i saw them many times. skycamefalling broke up a couple years ago, and were making music very similar to alexisonfire in like 96 or something.

yeah ive seen hopesfall twice, and they are a true favourite of mine...the lyrics are stunning, and the music as a whole has been blowing me away for a long time now.

as for alexisonfire- yeah i own their first cd and it has some good tunes, but take a look at the lyrics. they are a massive letdown...and ductapeboy, good call on the skycamefalling vs alexisonfire comparison, you bring up a great point.

alexisonfire lyrics are amazing. anyone who disagrees try to come up with something better. I like the old music, and the new lyrics. one of my favs

Alexisonfore with Rise Against and it was a really good show...i love Alexis but i didnt find them very great live...alot of their songs kinda blended together and it was just kinda bleeeh. but other than that theyre great
