was anybody else completely surprised by how much this movie sucked. i thought it was going to be a lot more like troy and have a lot more battles in it. however, there wasn't too much of that. the best part was seeing that one chick's vuluptuous breasts.

it was waaaay too long. i'm sure there were some good parts. the battle scenes were good, but then i fell asleep. several times. and every time i woke up there was colin farrell, making out with yet another guy.

I saw it on Friday. It was a God awful piece of crap. Typical of Oliver Stone to mess up a historical figure. It was quite annoying that Alexander was portrayed as a homosexual emotional brat. I thought it was amusing that some of the characters had Irish sounding accents. I can't believe they played that out for three agonizing hours. It was almost as bad as King Arthur.

I saw the preview over four months ago. I got through ten seconds of it before saying to myself, 'This movie will blow more chunks than any movie ever. I will not waste two hours of my life on it, and hope it never makes it to theatres.'

sorry for bumping an old thread, but they didn't have media/arts back in the day, so yea. Ive got 2 hours to go on this thing and it is not looking good. in fact, it strait sucks balls. the mixture of accents is one of the worst ive seen. I hold colin ferrel in a much higher respect than the movies he participates in. And Im really drunk.
 
god that was a shitty movie. Especially how they tried to make it all like an oral story (which just was poorly done) and angelina jolie sucks, and it was so thin on everything. Damn, hard to believe I remember so much of it through one pissed off viewing even though it came out nearly five years ago.
