was anybody else completely surprised by how much this movie sucked. i thought it was going to be a lot more like troy and have a lot more battles in it. however, there wasn't too much of that. the best part was seeing that one chick's vuluptuous breasts.

I agree with you 100% bigdboubler. I saw this movie on wednesday, i was expecting it to be like Troy but it wasn't at all. They made it look all intense in the previews but there were only 2 decent battles. That chicks tits were probably the highlight of the movie. I thought it was pretty wierd that they put in on the gay stuff i didnt know he was gay.

 
was too thin and too dry. i liked it somewhat, but a little too much emphasis on the personality of the guy for sure

 
when he made out with that indian guy i was grossed out, and the guy he always talked to with the eye shadow...that was a wierd relationship

wasnt it supposed to be about his life...that what i got the impression of so it would make sense that it isnt always gored out

oh oliver stone, how on and off you can be. this is why i read reviews, i was all about going to see alexander about a week ago, now i plan on seeing it never.

i did notice a lot of gayness in the movie...i have studied the subject back in high school and i dont remember reading about him being gay or bisexual...oh well...over i thought the movie sucked huge donkey balls

yea, i had the impression going in there that it was going to be like Troy, but it was totally different.......i didn't think it was that bad, but i was certainly surprised by it.....and yea, those gay parts were nasty, i never thought he was bi tho....

its amazing how those commercials (the ones that come out right after the film has been released) can make make a movie so enticing. when i first saw the trailer for alexander in theaters i thought it looked mindblowingly bad and miscast (jolie's reign of ensuring movies to be terrible continues)...in any case they show those commercials with tons of manipulated praises that have been cut and paste from newspapers that circulate to 3000 people...and it makes fools like me forget about my gut feeling...thank god for the fact that i'm lazy so people always go and see them before me and give me the 411...what a useless post.
