pretty interesting, and suspicious. Look at the jump from 06 to 07.

its not even that much added weight if u listened to baseball at all u'd have heard he stepped up his workouts, got down to 9% body fat and gained all the weight in muscle....oh...how many HR does he have

35lbs is quite a bit of weight to put on, even if he did step up his workouts. But to answer your poorly punctuated question, he has 4 home runs.

still doesn't change the fact that he's been hitting the tacos hard

he could hit 1000000 in 1 game and I'd still sit here and tell the world how much of a pussy he is. because he is a giant pussy.

Hmm, I say. If you're referring to his home run count then one of us is lying. But according to www.yankees.mlb.com, accessed about 3.5 minutes ago, it says he has 4 in 5 games. Perhaps they didn't update their player profile since his last game. The yankees have played 7 games, though, I do believe.

But even if it is 5 HR, wouldn't that push speculation toward steroid usage (although I believe that you are arguing otherwise)?

Yeah i've noticed Alex has gotten alot of muscle on him lately but it could be that hes eating alot more and found a lifting routine thats really worked for him thats how body builders add most of their mass is by eating tons of low fat higher protien foods

Definatley steroids.. because the richest player in baseball is too dumb to know people would find out about his weight gain...

give me a break you guys are retarded. It is possible to be good without using steroids you know...

True yo can be good with out steroids but the argument is that his weight jumped so dramatically in one season. I'm a bodybuilder and my weight goes up and down and trust me in one off season you can gain 35 pounds and still add tons of muscle its hard to do but people can grow pretty rapidly

who cares about steroids...you still need almost perfect hand-eye coordination to hit a 97 mph fastball, let alone an 88 mph curveball that starts at your head and finishes at your knees. steroids do nothing to help that...they just make you bigger. so what, he's a little stronger, personally i dont think he's that big of an idiot to take roids w/ the investigation on bonds and all of his bullshit.

He's never been below 200 since his rookie year.

Check pics of the guy, he's stacked...and not just this year.

They didn't update the stat you homo.
