Alex Hackel leaving ON3P too!?!

This shit kinda crazy. That’s a whole podium of x games medals that dipped from On3p this month.

I hope him the best. Feel like on3p is really supportive of their riders wanting to do other things.

so scott… you got a spot for me? Wanna talk my ditch skier promodel? Change my insta @to ditchskier and go hard on the ditch skiing scene? I feel like we got a new trend on our hands here… #makeditchskiinggreataain

Let’s be real. ON3P ain’t falling off and they ain’t going anywhere. This is the natural cycle of the industry. It’s the nature of skiers like Magnus, Hackel, and Peyben too. They want to help support a smaller company that’s better aligned with their values.

still this is really emotional and even tho it’s clear there’s no bad blood here it must be tragic to both the athletes, the team, and the great people at ON3P. Watching your kids grow up and go off on their own ya know.

Bummed to see these heavy hitters leaving ON3P but I’m really excited to see who they can bring on given the open spots and budget

Yeah I agree. Plus on3p still has a good team (mango, bmack, Meeks, to name a few) and they seem quite popular with a reputation for durability. I'm definitely wishing all the best for both on3p and 1000skis

Their makin room for chip Boyer I’d bet

They’re not. ON3P tends to catch people on the come up and grow with them. They don’t have the budget to retain people on big contracts for years. It’s the industry.

Glad to see Scott being cool about it

LSM’s been off On3p for a minute now, he was on line skis after that along with Jonnie Merrill but looks like he was only on em for a season

Yea, just saying this is a stacked group. LSM, Magnus, Hackel, Peyben. Peyben had left Line too right?

Yeah, he was on Line, presumably with a more lucrative contract. Like I've said before, the Bunch seems to be including their ski suppliers in their green vision, hense why most of them seemed to have joined 1000 skis.

How much longer do you think Kim Boberg will stay with Armada?

Chase Mohrman deserves more love too, met him briefly at loon my last day of the season and he was a wicked cool dude and an insane skier

gonna be interesting to see who on3p tries to pick up in the future.

I can see one of the wy’east kids who have smaller sponsors be picked up by them, maybe like Jed or Tanner

Andy Partridge would actually look sick in some green bottoms

Andy Partridge on ON3P would be really cool and his style fits perfectly with the rest of the people who are still left, but I doubt he’ll leave Jet now especially since a bunch of people left ON3P to ride Jets. I feel like ON3P is probably not gonna add to many people because their team is still huge. But I hope at least Isak Lorenzo because he already rides ON3Ps but I don’t think he’s actually sponsored by them

Kinda sick opportunity for current on3p riders to get more shine and resources as well hopefully. I’d be perfect stoked just seeing more from mango, oski weary, Rudy Lepine, krypto chase Mohrman, Meeks, bmack and other kids like sam lobinsky, drew ahlstrom, and names I Don’t know yet. Let all these people move up the ranks within the brand and leave their own mark! Hopefully on3p videos 6, 7, 8 and on are just as great 1-5 (especially 3&4).

wonder who all will be on 1000 once all the riders are announced.

Ya it seems like some of the ppl in this thread feel like ON3P took a loss but the truth is:

1. Imagine a movie with Rudy Lepine, Mango, Oscar Weary, Meeks, BMack, Krypto, Bsee.z, etc. It would be absolutely insane, the truth is, those guys that left are heavy hitters but the team is still stacked af

and 2. ON3P is literally THE best ski company and everybody knows it. Even if they didn’t have a team, the reputation that theyve built for themselves over the years will never be reduced by losing riders.

All I can say is, this is very very accurate... And we are extremely excited for what's to come as well as I'm so hyped for the opportunities Hackel and Magnus created for themselves.

Love You Too is going to become a timeless classic if it's the last time we ever see ON3Ps in a The Bunch flick

Holy brannoli. On3p is dropping off

Lmao what ??? ON3P is successful because Scott knows what he’s doing and they build the most durable skis in the world. Their team is dope and while they definitely contribute to marketing the product, the few guys that have moved on leave a still super stacked and talented team. Most pros move around from sponsor to sponsor over the course of their lifetime anyway. Tommy Walnuts moved from Scott to Line. Candide moved from coreUPt to Faction. Karl Fostvedt moved from ON3P to K2. It’s all a constant ebb and flow. I’m sure Scott knew that when he had those guys join the team it wasn’t for the rest of their careers. They contributed a lot to skiing with his skis on their feet, dropped some fucking banger movies, and eventually decided that their next move was to move on. It has nothing to do with ON3P, “dropping off.” If you think that a brands team is what makes the brand, you’re either smooth brained or all you do is buy skis based on who your favorite rider that week is skiing.

Tommy moved from amplid to Scott to line. Candide moved from Rossi to dynastar to CoreUPT to faction. To your point about pros moving around. They move a lot. Candide has had pro models with 3 companies haha

They fuckin better

He’s already gotten offers from what I’ve been told. Not sure if any of those were from ON3P specifically. Could just be heresay. Mans is a full time student so probably too busy for pro skiing rn
