The excitement is from the idea that a person who pointed a gun at someone and pulled the trigger, killing one and injuring another is somehow not responsible.

I mean, step back and remove all the other circumstances you know about and just read that sentence. A person pointed a gun at someone, pulled the trigger, and killed someone. WHY THE FUCK ARE YOU DEFENDING THAT? It's an accident, but it's supremely stupid, avoidable, and tragic. Apply blame where blame is due, and empathize with how bad the dude must feel....but it's still his fault regardless of how many people he pays failed to help him.

I would definitely do this as well. Especially with an SAA Colt where you cant just pop the mag and clear the chamber and know its unloaded. You literally have to cycle the cylinder and check every chamber with the swing gate open. Even at gun stores if I ask to handle a pistol the only direction I ever point it is at the ground to hold or up in the air if I am checking the sights. This is just a clear example of the hypocrisy of hollywood glamorizing gun violence on TV while in real life not knowing the first things about gun safety. Especially since Alec Baldwin is such an ass to lawful gun owners.

The excitement is that you hate the guy and your loving anything that can fuel that or maybe your cause. You guys are making ridiculous comparisons and to you it's the same as walking into a store and shooting somebody and saying you didn't know it was loaded.

I really don't even have an issue with guns, but gun nuts as as a collective movement are cooked.

I don't even get what you're trying to argue. You guys should jist go back to your clubhouse and talk about freedom and how everyone would be safer if everyone had at least 3 guns on them at all points. Alec baldwin should get life in prison and whatever else you're feeling.

i got my ass grabbed by a random girl at a high school dance yrs ago. And would you believe it; i didnt even have to start cutting myself to deal with the pain. I didnt give a shit, even though i wasnt interested in the girl who groped me and found it minorly annoying.

I have a lot of film friends who work on these western sets and last I talked to them the armorer is in charge of the prop gun was taking the gun to ranger with the actors to shoot ranger rounds and it sounds like she didn’t clear it, and/or when she got to set turned the gun in and they set it aside, the 1st ad is suppose to check the gun after the armorer does but from my buddy it sounded like she wasn’t present, and that the 1st ad is Notorious for rushing sets as most of them are and he didn’t check the round and made the call for a safe gun.

Alec should not be blamed, the industry seriously needs to check there safety standards and actually check those who are in charge of on set safety . I could go off more but I’m shitting at work rn
