Yanks just got scalped by the tribe 6-4. American League Championship battle: Cleveland vs. Boston.

oh and if joe torre gets fired because of this series, steinbrenner's a fucking fag. i'm no yankees fan (obviously), but torre has done so much for that team for the past dozen years. to fire him because of a shitty series is just ridiculous.
 
Regardless of which AL team wins, they will beat the rockies or the diamondbacks they both fucking suck. But the red sox will most likely win both.
 
As a rockies fan, I would much rather the rockier play the indians than the red sox. So right now I am rooting for them
 
i dont know. Torre hasent won since 2000 and has had some pretty nasty lineups every year. Hopefully it will like the chargers and fuck Steinbrenner over.

maybe they are not far off but at least they didnt lose in the first round after spending a shit load.
 
its not gonna matter when a team with less than 25% of yanks payroll and less than 33% of the bosox payroll fuckin steamrolls you guys into the world series.
 
at least John Henry doesnt have to threaten Terry Francona to make the sox win a game. hahahah. I think it will be a good series but i like the sox chances.
 
as a tribe fan i didnt expect the indians to make it this far but after beatin the odds and winning the series vs the yanks (we went 0-6 against them in regular season play) i like our chances and momentum going into this series. GO TRIBE
 
I love the B's but they are just plain horrible. I still watch almost every game but its sometimes painful to watch.

you have the momentum of 1 game, sox have a 3 game momentum, not to mention they have extra rest, and becket coming in in game one, and a deeper bullpen and better hitting line up, and field defense, ouch
 
The Indians are a whole new team now. There playing with so much momentum and with confidence. If they take the same attitude into the ALCS they won't be stopped.
 
Cleveland definitely has better pitching, but fielding and hitting will PWN YOU! GO BOSTON

and jwenz, boston had the best era in the american league all season, and post season era of 1.85 cleveland's is 2.97
 
you can't undermine beantown's pitching that much, they're bullpen is great. beckett will pwn, schilling's a dinosaur but he can manage, papelbon and okie will close up well, etc. i'm not worried about the pitching, i'm just worried about the sox choking all around (cancel cancel cancel)
