Alcohol or drugs with a spleen injury?

if you have had severe spleen injury where it did not get removed, or know about spleens, i'd like your help. i ruptured it a month and 10 days ago, and i want to know if it's safe to drink?

but to answer your question, i would think its not the greatest idea, but how would i know, im not a doctor.
 
i ruptured my spleen adn they said it looked like hamburger when i was like 6, and it didnt get out. i enjoy drinking alchohol and smoking reefer and thizzin like niggaz in da bay
 
The spleen cleans your blood but is not necessary to metabolise alcohol or drugs. Your kidney will still filter your blood. Many people get they spleens removed after big accdents and make little to no difference in their lives.
 
i tore my spleen in half and ruptured one of my kidneys severly i had to wait almost 6 months before i was allowed even a beer. but i had kidney damage maybe you should wait a little bit jsut to be safe a few drinks isnt worth your health
 
weird, i ruptured my splean almost a month ago and im home now and ive been drinking and smoking a lil bit i wouldnt suggest it to you especially when i dunno how badly you busted your shit up, this is my 2nd ruptured spleen and they didnt take it out yet. how long were u in the hospital?
 
i had a level five spleen fracture and my doc told me it would not be in my best interest to continue drug use until i was healed.

they might just say that to everyone though
 
i was in the hospital for 9 days, mainly just so they could watch me because they were worried it would completely rupture and they'd have to take it out. My case is that i have a hemotoma (scab basically) still on my spleen thats about the size of a key....
