Alcohol on the West Coast

I live in Ontario and our liquor is controlled by the government. So basically, the government controls all the prices and they can sell it for whatever they feel like.

How much is it for alcohol where you live? How much is a 375ml (13oz, or mickey) bottle of smirnoff or Jack Daniels or Captain Morgans Rum?

Because where I live hard liqor is about $1 an ounce (oz.) and I think we are getting screwed over by the government.

Just give me any prices you can on any liquor you find. Thankyou.

most mickis are around 11 - 14 depending on what you get, beer like the cheap shit, lucky, black label or what not is basically a buck a beer, 24 packs usually go for around 38 bucks, thats for bud or molson or what not.

It's pretty much exactly the same. I've lived in both places, definitely not a big enough deal to get your knickers in a knot.

liquor prices are controlled by the gov't in every province... so go cry somewhere else. maybe become american... u can get a 40pack of bud for like $25 at a gas station.

who gives a shit, just fucking drink. If you're that concerned about how much you'll be spending, drinking probably isn't a recreational activity you should be partaking in.

It's all over the place, 2 weeks ago John B Pub in coquitlam had a sale on 18 cases it was like 4$ more for the xtra 6. I also know that another place - two parrots liquor dropped their prices, I asked why and the guy working there said that a new bc liquor store opened up the street and they wanted to keep their clientel.

I thought it was all run by the government, but I'll take the cheaper prices.

it's wack. A 12 pack of heineken costs 4 euros in Spain, and a litre of absinthe costs 9. It's easily twice as cheap as other places.
