Dude are you 40 or something? 16 year olds like to get fucked up its not the 50s. Even 16 year olds who do well in school drink and party. I have been drinking regularly since I was 13-14 and thats normal (didn't do shit when I was 11 or 12.)

When I was 16 I was bringing fake ids so I could gamble in the casinos and an ounce of chronic on ski trips with my pops.

I have brought booze into the usa while underage and had no problems.

Then again knowing the USA they might fuck you over. I wouldn't be surprised if they had jail sentences for that shit haha.
