Albany colleges next year

ill be at albany pharmacy in two years hah, my friend is going to st rose im pretty sure. it looks like a good school
 
my black friend is going to sage and playing basketball there...he doesn't ski so i really don't know why i'm posting this i'm sorry for wasting your time
 
haha idk, UAlbany is just the dominant school in the area. if your living off campus, chances are UAlbany kids are your neighbors.

ive lived in Kinderhook for my whole live, and recently last summer moved up to Albany (i go to school out in Boston- Junior) and i guess after living out here, going back home makes me really think about what Albany's perks are... small list. ha but thats just my opinion man

But it is true that Albany Med, St. Peters and Ellis are excellent hospitals. I just hope what you want to get into has openings in the near future. I know my brother graduated from University of Rochester last Spring with his RN and had an extremely difficult time getting a nursing job in Albany and he graduated top 10% of his class. (might just be that batch of applicants or something, who knows).

On a side note.... i got to Bentley and St. Rose is in our conference. I race against your peeps for track all the time. legit.

my boss went there. He didn't like it because they didn't prepare you as much for the commercial side of the business as they did the pharmokinetic side. That might be good if you want to work in a hospital, but if you want to work at a commercial pharmacy then you will be learning as you go once you graduate
 
i honestly dont know why you think saint rose will have better party's then UA. UA is bigger population, its a state school instead of a private school like saint rose. You obv think your school is gonna be the best one, and i understand that. but i dont go to either and when i see on tv kids destroying cops cars... im gonna assume that UA is a better party school.

No, I was not. And out of the 12 kids arrested for that or so, only 4 were from Albany. The rest were from other colleges. Yes there were 40 people arrested that day. Not all from the car smashing. And not all from UAlbany.

Never been to a Chipotle, but I would dare to say that it's better than Moe's, especially if you are a vegan/vegetarian.

And while I was never really impressed with the city as a whole, the food/restaurants in Albany are super good.

if anyone hasn't been to "Wings over Albany" on western ave (in the price chopper plaza) then GO. Their boneless wings are fucking amazing…you'll thank me later
 
albany has its moments like every other town but IMO the best time is spring and summer here. just walking the dog through washington park yesterday made me miss living over on state. tons of people just hanging out, playing volleyball, frisbee, and soccer. when i first moved down here, all we did was hang in the park. we'd snag a cooler and fill it with beer and come back when it was empty. if you're over 21, hang out at hollywood cafe. i personally cant stand the bar when it turns into college nights but if youre lucky enough to score a table out on the street, its prime people watching like no other. however, if a black guy who calls himself The Mayor of Lark starts talking to you, cut him off immediately because all he wants is money claiming he's homeless and if you'll notice, hes got the latest nikes and dakine bag. fuck that.
