Albany colleges next year

whos going to college in or around albany ?
i committed to St. Rose any one going here ?

anyone going to ualbany, rpi, sage, ect ?
looking for some people to go up to mt snow withhh
 
eh not so much. i live 40 mins north of albany and couldn't be happier, theres so much to do.
theres bad parts of albany just like every other place in the world..
have you been here ? how does it blow... ?
 
Albany is a nice little city, the area venues have great shows, not to mention Camp Bisco!

I went to UA for 2 years and it was a great time! The only reason I left was to concentrate on my Evn. Sci. degree. The college is relaxed enough for you to be comfy, but it is competitive enough to allow you to push yourself in many directions.

It is a great value for undergraduate education, and you will get a great start there, depending on your major. Luckily, UA has many majors, and quite a few competitive majors, so if they offer a program that interests you, I highly recommend attending there.

The bar scene is halfway decent, and the downtown area --while dangerous-- hosts everything from frat parties, chill parties, parties with live bands, parties with live DJs, and rave/dance parties.

As well, the campus is secluded enough to isolate the student population, yet you are only a couple of bus stops from the either downtown scene in one direction, or the uptown restaurants and shopping areas in the other.
 
i went to ua and it was amazing!
i skiied every wknd (hunter mtn) and partied like a maniac during the week.
it really is an awesome place to go to depending on what u wanna do.
i was a double major in marketing/economics but i banged out the majority of my classes fresh/soph/jun year so come senior year i only had 2 classes (1 on tues/thurs, other on wed) both start at 5:45

 
lol NY. im getting the fuck out as soon as i can. next winter is going to be my last winter in this shit hole
 
yup, i live in lake george, i know albany well.
so i'm guessing not many people are hitting up albany next year.. oh well.
btw im going to st rose not ualbany, majoring in physical therapy

ha ehhh, albany doesn't really have much goin for it to be honest. ever since they took the 12 theaters out of xgates we can no longer say we have the mall with the most movie theaters... all been down hill from there.

ohh that and the fact that suny albany lets a bunch of fuckin retards attend their school who video tape themselves smashing cars and private property on st. pattys day. never seen a bigger bunch of idiots. "yo guys lets video tape this and put it up on youtube" "yeah man!! great idea" - wrong on so many levels. good bye fountain say for suny albany..... prolly forever ha
 
I go to RPI now! absolutely love it. It's a lot of work so if you decide to go here be prepared for that. They have a ski club which I wanted to join but bc of my major I had no time this year. I still get the emails for the club though and they do alot of sweet trips to mountains around here and also lots of meetings every week or so where they watch ski movies or do prize giveaways or w/e. It's awesome!

ahaha yeahh. Well RPI in general is alot of work, but I believe other students in different majors actually have lives and free time... must be nice lol
 
uh why does everyone keep referring to UA ? i'm going to st. rose so i don't really care.
i live in the 518 i know what albany has to offer, and theres alot.. tons of hospitals and health centers too to help me get a job after 7 years of hell.
 
i actually like to ski on snow, and take laps. troy highschool can suck my dick the only thing good about that place is jordan canazeri
 
yeah too bad canzeri is going to be the next lamichael james, playing at iowa, i had a fun time playing HS football against him though
 
i got a buddy that goes to st rose. Hes got an apartment and claims to throw ragers there. he says its a good time. also i think the bot to girl ratio is way in your favor

I heard that kid is a legend. He can drink more than 20 guys and not die.

I knew this kid from halfmoon that went to saint rose but he was kind of a noob. Thought he was good at ruit. And his roomate had inbred cats all over
 
the albany party scene was fucking wild this year, but from now on, as many know from kegs and eggs, is hella uptight, but im sure next year it will end up just as dope

Kinda off topic but I've seen a black Impreza wagon with an Icelantic sticker, ski racks, and I think a backcountry sticker around the area of St. Rose/Sage and was wondering if any of you knew who it was? Its a long shot but I just saw it again today for bout the 5th time.
