Hey I'm from montana and was wondering, when is the best skiing time in alaska, can you ski in June July and August? We are out of good snow by July so I am looking for a place to run too. And is it really day for like a long time then night for a long tim too? when does that happen?

yeah we don't get snow in July but in the spring it's pretty warm, soft, and sunny. Plus it stays light out for like, an infinity hours.

dont ski at alyeska, there is to much sick terrain in alaska to sit at a silly resort all winter

sweet guys thanks, I actually wasn't expecting real answers, but does anyone know what the rules are about camping and stuff? The bigger mountains are mainly Nat'l Forest right? and how could does it get at night in like June?
