Alaska or Mammoth?

What would you rather do crush in alaska or jib in Mammoth, I would personally crush in Alaska over any park anyday.

If Sean White thinks Mammoth blows, he's as dumb as his hair looks. Mammoth has steeps (better than Breck), pow (more than Breck), sun (300 days, probably more than Breck), size (3500 acres, bigger than Breck), and is world renowned for its parks (70 acres vs. Breck's 25). I'm not saying that Breck isn't the balls, but you can't slag Mammoth.

I and I think the cheapest heli up there is around $850 for one day.

ok heres the thing you can ski a park anywere in the u.s. but u cant always go rip some sick lines on a perfect mountain with untuched powder

so i would for sure go to alaska

Ok I take back that last thing I said. I posted before I had an actual successful BC trip.

Alaska kills Mammoth any day if you have the knowledge, equipment, and know how to actually ski.

I'm pretty happy I live in the AK, just the crappy AK but oh well. Mammoth would be nice for park but if you have a sled or legs of steal/time or $$$ then Alaska kills. And just so you guys know, Alaska doesn't have powder every day.

im sure that unless you have a sled/heli/snowcat, backcountry skiing in mammoth is a lot more accessible than in AK.
