im going to visit my family in alaska on july 25th, will there still be any skiing available near there or a couple hours away

i dont know about that, but probably yes on the glaciers if they do

o yea by the way, you made 2 of these threads

what part are you comming to? i live here in ak and the skiing in fairbanks is a no go, right now its like 70 degrees and july is the warmest month. anchorage has a camp going on at alyeska untill the end of next week and then it will be closed. if you are down in the south east area by the capital i thin you'd be out of luck too becasue its always raining there, i don't know about there but i am pretty sure you won't be able to ski in july here in alaska.

oh theres a place u can drive to about an hour and a half- two hours north of anchorage, its called hatchers pass. its sick and has lots of snow for a long time

yeah if you don't mind hiking and what not then you can drive hatchers or thompson pass, but i'm not sure how good it will be in july...

ummm in southeast i dont think you have any chance at all. me and some buds are doin the some heli riding next weekend but this is basically the last chance at all and its only mid june so i think your outta luck.

yea july at hatchers is a no go. just not gonna happen im thinkin. to bad you couldnt come earlier, our resort closed the first week in june. the snows still up there, but not enough for business. theres plenty of other stuff to do up here though.
