That was awesome. I liked the mix of moving shots and static shots. It was nice to focus some on your family too. I'm sure they will like a little edit of your trip. I took a trip to italy with my mom, and she didn't get why I took so many photos - but now seeing them, she's really happy I did.

What are you filming with? Are you grading the footage?

Thanks dude!! Yah, hopefully my family is stoked on it.
I'm filming with a T2i, for lenses I think I used my: Soligor 135mm f/2, Canon 50mm 1.8, and the kit lens.Just 2 days ago I got Magic Bullet Looks so I graded all this footage quickly.

Really cool. Only thing I thought could use improvement is the grading on the last shot. It seemed a little dull contrast wise and was a little overpowered with reds and yellows. Loved the film though. Just out of curiosity were you using the kit lens at 1:27?

Was it "dull" because he didn't crush his blacks like everybody else? I thought the blacks looked fine.

Also that was one of the better videos I've seen on here. The outdoor shots are money; the second shot seriously impressed me. I also like how you used discretion when grading rather than destroying every shot by maxing out the contrast and clipping everything.

The cruise was actually way sicker than I thought it would be. Alaska is sick! We went on The NCL pearl. Foods unreal, pretty cool places/scenery and it's really chill. I brought all my cam stuff, and left it in the room works out great. The plane ride is expensive as fuck, but totaly worth it, it's one of the top 5 things I've ever done.

really nice work. perfect song choice and editing fit it very well. I loved the first three shots, especially the one at :14. Also, the color grading was well done. keep it up!

The grading was perfect, I would love to see it fine-tuned, but honestly that grading was better than 99 percent of the videos I've seen on here. It looked spot on, lots of DSLR stuff ends up looking so strange because of the colors that the HDSLRs produce.

I pretty much echo what Landis said. The outdoor shots were great, and the shots that you took a little more liberty with in grading to change them looked perfect too. I really enjoyed it.
