This is all that is wrong with womens surfing, these girls rip and in my opinion are often alot more styly than the men but they have to be fucking supermodels and wear nothing to get a job.

dont get me wrong i love it when a babe paddles past me in the line up in a thong. i just hate how there was one shot of surfing and a load of posturing. surfers need to stop whoring themselves out, women in other sports rarely do it and get a shit ton more respect for it. these girls are supposed to be professional athletes!!! i know its money but...

 
i understand where you are coming from but that fact is that there is just not enough money in women's surfing for the 'pros" to only be good at surfing, they have to be hot to if they are going to be any help the companies who sponsor them. unfortunately we live in a world run by money, so i really cant ever see this changing, especially in a sport where the uniform is a bikini
 
because thet actually rip, i was watching bells this year live... staying up till about 3 in the morning cause they were surfing so fucking good! But i admit i did enjoy the bikinis to.

I understand the money, i just dont like it. It makes girls go... OMG look at her sexy ass in that bikini that will make guys look at me and like me, not if i work hard and learn to shred people will respect me for the activity i do not just my arse! i know surfing isnt the only place this happens but it still pisses me off.

An example of this is Keala Kennelly the woman who towed chopes during the billabong pro this year in the tow in session, balls of fucking steel.

But you all have to watch this. Kelia Moniz is where it's at. (Fast forward to 2:00 if you get bored easily, beginning is a little slow... it gets SO awesome though.) She is a babe and the little girl with her is SO fuckin cute.

 
yea but alana rips and is hot, so what should we punish her for being attractive? coco ho is pretty damn attractive too and she got a wild card to the triple crown, she was there because of her surfing, not to be eyecandy. yea people are gonna oogle but then they're gonna keep watcing because their surfing is legit. get over it
